| well, blast sheilds don't cover your feet/legs. I can still toss a grenade up under there. | |

| True but why not risk taking one for the team and you pull the pin off the grenade and tackle the dude , put the grenade under the shield and get outta dodge . | |

| it should be allowed as long as the sheild is made only out of cardboard. that way, assult rifles and pistols wont peirce on first shot, but will after 4 or 5 shots. also sniper shots will peirce on the first shot. | |

| The only thing with that is, its slows the bb down so much that they wont even notice it hitting them. I do 50 vs 50 usually and we just go out werever there is like rocks, trees ETC. More realistic then having blast shields and stuff. We do mock up ranger stuff mainly. | |

i agree with roamer blast shields are for wimps that are afraid to get shot with a "bleeping" airsoft gun | |

| The guns don't hurt that bad now don't get me wrong these shields can be used for good yet most use them like wimps , thus stated in the first pages . | |

| Hum, isn't airsoft supposed to be kind of a military combat simulation or whatever they are called? SWAT, Police, occasionaly military use them, so in my opinion it makes it more realistic if you can use one... | |

| hahahahahhaaha. We were playing in a situation like this a few months ago. One guy had a 3 or 4 layered cardboard shield and was shooting over the top of it against like 3 of us. After 5 minutes or so of that, I just went "Screw This" and gave my gun to my friend a few trees away. I asked to borrow his BDU jacket (I usually play in a dark-green T-Shirt) and his Shemagh to cover up some extra exposed skin and just charged the guy. Just LAID HIM OUT I was so pissed. Everyone got a good kick out of that. | |

| If blast shields had the ability to be shot thru after a couple of shots, then it would add to the realism of a swat sim game. For example, I was letting kkoerber shoot at me with his mac 11, but I was holding up a thick piece of Styrofoam. Well after about thirty shoots A bb hit me right in the stomach. | |
