| I recently did a upgrade where I installed this Prometheus M4 neo chamber. The gun i did it to, CA M15 A4 did not have enough airpressure to add the hardbucking.
I highly reccomend this upgrade though because once I was done the customer was pleased. To give you a idea he was hitting small trees at about 50 yd away (150 ft)

| I like the prommy hop-ups, but its nothing a good Systema can't do. Personally I don't like M4 hop-ups all that much anyways....
I got a few questions though,
What rubber was he using? FPS? Which nubbing? What weight BB? TBB?
I don't really know how small the tree was but this shows some pretty good results.

| nice, but whats the point of the ball bearing spring guide??? Ive never heard of that one before - Quote :
- The reason for a Bearing spring guide is the same as if you have a Bearing piston head, the Bearings allow the spring to turn during compression, relieving cross strain on the spring coils, now there is a trap in this kind of set-up, a lot of new players will wrongly assume that if you have a Bearing Spring guide, then also installing a Bearing Piston head would be even better, WRONG !!
By installing both you create an abnormal, spring twist during compression, the spring actualy starts to work against itself, reducing its power, destroying the tensile strength and leading to premature destruction.
Installation of one or the other, Piston, or Spring Guide bearing will increase the life of your spring.

| ah i see. Yea its poly carb, But I guess since your going with the stronger spring it would be safe to have it.
What kind of shell are you using? (reinforced, or stock)

| Its stock but its seems more reinforced then the usual one. Its a bit beefier and seems like it should handle it. I plan on getting a King Arms 8mm sometime though in case this one doesnt work out. | |

| I think I have a pair of normal 8mm ones laying around here actually. Why do you say keep away from the bearing kind? I know some other Airsmiths that love them but also like you said some that say keep with the normal solid ones. | |

| reason is your set up, Your going for a high power set up, bearings are really only good for high ROF sets. | |

| Good info, I have been looking for a good hop-up for my KWA M4. I have decent groupings with regular BBs, but with those Bio's that I have to use at my sight, accuracy can get quite ugly. I wrote these details down. How are ICS hop-ups for an M4 In your opinion? Would you say Prommy or ICS? Or of course any other suggestions.
BTW: I presume your an AirSmith now, LW? Good stuff, who do you work for?

| No DT I don't work for anyone but myself No the accuracy issues you are having with your bio's could just be a quality issue. Whose bios are you using? As for the ICS Hop up. NO ICS is mainly known for wiring not hop ups. If you want a amazing hop up to replace your KWA. Get KWA. The new 2009 line when it comes out will also bring out their newer version hop ups but will still be compatible with previous KWA models. GOOD LUCK! btw. Im really excited and anxious for these new KWA's. I want one of my own to go pwn'n with. | |

| yeah LW its definately the quality of the BBs, because the difference between these BBs and my non-Bio's is huge. They're Mad-bull Bio's, all my shop sells. That being said, Can I still get a better hop-up, and even though it's the BBs, will it make it more accurate? (GREAT idea with the new KWA hop-up btw, I am also siked for the new KWA line-up. I'm reserving a MAC11 at my locale shop, they totally re-vamped the internals and the gas system in their new MAC11 that will be released along with all their others. I think they fixed the problems with the mag, too.) OR would I just be better off getting a TBB...or both. | |
