| ummmm..... thats rather pointless, but we might as well start a conversation in this space, so here goes. Does anyone here paintball? I am getting into it, though it will always be second to airsoft. Any other opinions? | |

| In my opinion, paintball is a sport, airsoft is a simulation. My natural choice would be airsoft because I like realism, but on days where my local field is only doing paintball, I might head over and play a few games. | |

| A few of my friends used to do paintball then they switched to airsoft. Its fun just very expansive and like you said not very realistic. | |

| Like he said paintball is a sport and I have a few friends that play both airsoft and paintball. I ask them what they like better and they say there about the same. | |

| I agree. Paintball and Airsoft are not comparable at all. Airsoft is a military simulation and paintball is a sport. Paintball is way too expensive for me. | |

| Airsoft: -Realistic acting guns, if your willing to spend money in the $200 + regions -Is compatible with Mil-Sim events -light weight -inexpensive (when it comes to ammo...now making your gun teh best...hehe) -growing market op.s (with advantages/disadvantages)
Paintball -Non-realistic, except mil-sim paintball reserved for the wealthy -requires protective wear at regulated fields -very hard to cheat -MARKETING (with advantages and disadvantages) -IN PAINTBALL: it is very hard to start out, but once your team is worthy of sponsorship you are set for the rest of your career as long as you take it seriously. | |

| I personally don't like paintball because of its Non-realism. Airsoft is way better hands down! Thing is though (and this could be a good or bad thing) its pretty easy to cheat. But its cheaper then paintball that is for sure. | |

| I'll throw one thing out to paintball the outs system is completely perfect, in airsoft people argue to much about hits, makes me very upset | |

| Paintball is fun, but it cost way more money and it isn't as realistic. I think airsoft is better | |
