| I'm a newb, so don't beat up on me too much. Well, I was wondering if y'all could help me out here. I want to get a good gun for CQB and Field, and I was looking at either the Echo 1 Stag Arms STAG-15 RIS or the Tokyo Marui MP5A4. Do y'all think either of these would be alright for a newb to airsofting? I've read about the TM MP5A4, and it doesn't seem to newb-friendly, but I think I could handle it. Thanks. | |

| Well a Tokyo Mauri is very reliable but i don't think its a very starter gun. Echo 1 Stag Arms RIS seems very nice but reviews say other wise. I guess a Echo 1 stag would be a nice starters, | |

| Well it really depends on where you play if your playing a lot of CQB the TM MP5 would be best. But if your playing feild with some distance then I would go with the M4. I have an Echo 1 M16 and I love it never failed me yet its light and accurate once you tune the hop up a little bit. It depends on how much your willing to pay! Get back to me on it and i'll give you some suggestions. | |

| Yeah but my CA MP5 shoots farther than my CA M15 so it really doesn't matter for airsoft that much only the fact that you can more easily find yourself around a building with MP5 type weapons | |

| We had a person on our team that had an ICS MP5SD6 and compared to the Echo 1 AK-47 it couldent compete with the range. It did have a higher ROF but it just dident have the range compared to the AK. | |

| The one problem with the MP5 is the lack of barrel length for field. You may want to consider a longer barrel and flash hider if you go that route. | |

| I have a Stag made by Echo1. Its pretty good for field. Like Lone Wolf said though the MP5 has a shorter barrel so you might not get the range and accuracy you do with the M4. TM's hop-up are excellent though stock. | |

| well, this weekend, my dad might be taking me to dmz airsoft. it's cqb. and i'll probably be playing both cqb and field. but wouldn't the M15 be the best of both worlds in this case? i don't know, i'm just a newb. | |

| Yeah it would since it has the retractable stock and the RIS for mounting flashlights and different things you might need. | |

| To have the best of both worlds go with an M4 Commando its a rifle small enough for CQB but also has the accuracy to compete in the feild. | |
