| it is just the body that is plastic... and the body is a nylon fiber and plastic mixture... which is what is on a real steal G36 (i think). | |

| Its a good gun for the price remember "you get what you pay for". I belive Combat Machine makes G&Gs sportline models and according to ASGI Combat Machines are very durable. If you can't find one with an RIS/RAS rail look at these (see link below) these rails are really simple and cheap they just screw into the handguard and then your ready to go! http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=4756 | |

Combat Machine all the way. Although its plastic its very durable plastic and it already come with a 6.04mm TBB. I would really recomend this gun over the A&K Mod 0. Not a fan of A&K unless its thier SR-25. Not a fan becuase what happened to my friends SAW its an A&K and for some very odd reason it just stopped working for some odd reason and we haven't figured out whats wrong with it yet. | |

| Thats what I planed to do with my Echo 1 M16. Unfortunatly sniper conversions are hard and expensive. If your looking for a DM rifle or an SASS/assualt rifle consider buying an M14 or an SR-25 but the short version without the silencer. | |

| all that i would want to do it get a longer tighter barrel (cover it up with a mock suppressor) a new hop-up, and since it already has a high tourq motor and a re-enforced gearbox i would put a stronger spring in it. and thats what i would do to make it a DM rifle. but i would keep it around 420-450 fps | |

| It sounds like you already know what you want. I say "if you know how to do it why not?" I think an M4 sniper looks really cool and you never see any, anywhere so you would be unique. If you do decide to do this make sure you post some pictures of it! | |

| ya but i am not sure what gun to do this too.... i want to upgrade the M4 but i don't know if it is a good gun or not because there are not many youtube videos on it, so what do you think of the gun... | |

| I would not put a stronger spring in that gun, first because of the stress it will cause, and I would not trust A&K when they say reinforced, because it is reinforced for that spring they provide. | |

| I would go with a gun thas easy to upgrade something like a Echo 1 or a JG. But thats my opinion. You could probably upgrade the Combat Machine the Combat Machine is stock with a 6.04mm TBB. Combat Machine M4s are also very durable. | |

| O well I would still not upgrade the spring until I get new torque up gears, motor, new metal bushing, and a reinforced tapet plate, and I know that you do not have gearbox experience (we are neighbors) so I would stick with it stock until you watch more upgrade videos on youtube. It is not worth risking damage to your gearbox (including shorter life span) for negligible fps increase. | |

| so then would i take out all the stock torque-up stuff and put in new torque-up stuff.... because idk why i would do that and this is what it has in it.... -G&G 25000 rpm High torque G&G ultra power motor. -G&G Metal brass Bushing -G&G High seal full metal Hop-Up chamber. -G&G Nylon/Fiber Reinforced Piston. -G&G Steel high power full metal gear sets. (Newest version) -G&G full metal RIS System (Rail Interface System) -G&G Zinc Full metal and fully upgradeable reinforced V2 gearbox. -Built in precision tight bore barrel for maximum accuracy. Superb accuracy. | |

| I do not trust that it is completely upgraded and ready for spring that will cause more stress, like i said, the life span of the gun will be shorter. | |
