| Before: [url= ] After: [url= ] [url= ] [url= ] I am going to paint the sunshade... I thought it might look cool in black, but after it was on the gun it didnt look quite the way I thought. Other than that, I personally think it turned out pretty good. I was going to do more of a Flecktarn type pattern but decided against it as I would have had to have several shades of green and brown to do so. Plus, this matches my M9 now. | |

| thats pretty cool. i wonder how well its gonna blend in without the browns/tans that other paint jobs have. are you gonna give it a rifle wrap (rifle ghillie) or just let the paint do all the work? that paint job is pretty sweet.
very nice job sir!

| Yeah I kinda went outside of the box since most paint-jobs are generally tan/brown based with some green and black. However, I think once spring finally gets here and there is more green than brown... I should be in pretty good shape. I may go back and add some dark brown, unfortunately I didnt have any on hand when I painted it earlier today. I really like the way it turned out though and look forward to playing with it in the woods... once there are some green leaves / brush to hide in. I did paint the sunshade OD... so it looks much nicer now than in the pic's above. | |

| I think it looks great but it has some pretty defined contrast lines and they can be easy to spot. But I haven't seen where you play so maybe it will work. But I think if the blobs of color on top of the OD had there edges faded more it would work better.
Just my 3 cents. | |

| I am sure there are other places to buy them, but the only place I found them was Airsoftgi.com and it was at a reasonable price.
There are a few different models with and without scopes. Mine is a G-Spec if you are wondering.

| Ok thanks, i am thinking about getting another sniper and i am deciding between JG Bar 10 which is basically the same thing as my VSR-10 or a L96 from evike... so i am trying to make this choice but i have to save up some more money anyway. | |

| please dont go with Evike. personally ive onyl had one problem with them(6mth late sipping, but that could be the USPS fault), but other people that i personally know have had very bad experiences with them. i would just go with airsoftgi.com or some of your local retailers

| ok i will look at airsoftgi.com but other wise i only have the internet to get good gun from. as you know i live in Eastport a verry little town in northern michigan. we have to go about 40 miles to the nearest walmart or office max. so as you can tell there are no airsoft gun retailers. the best we can get is k-mart and those guns brake in the first match.
This Stinks but i would never move to a city.

| Websites I would stick to because I have hardly ever heard anything bad about them: - www.airsoftsmith.com <-- Ohio based company... good inventory and VERY good sevice. - www.airsoftarms.com <-- Ohio based company... sometimes low inventory but they do a good job. - www.airsoftatlanta.com <-- Nice selection and lots of parts... sort of my go to place. Quick shipping as well. - www.airsoftgi.com <-- Very large selection and fairly quick shipping. - www.precisionairsoft.net <-- Good for custom work on AEG's. - www.combatdepot.com <-- A lot of parts... not a lot of guns. - www.shortyusa.com <-- Good selection. As far as the 2 replica's go that you are looking at, the Bar 10 is 100% compatible with the Tokyo Marui VSR 10, which means the aftermarket for it is huge. L96's usually are a little harder to modify. | |

| Check out the fourth video down from the top here: http://www.theairsoftsniper.com/videos.htmlMake sure to read the caption as well. It'll give you an idea on how to paint your gun (any gun), and which paint to use. The paint, by the way, can be purchased at almost any hardware store or Walmart | |
