| Just be certain it's your own bottle. The guy who owned the field once kicked out a party of 20 people because they were using his feeder bottles as grenades. | |

| Generally it's a rule that ricochets don't count, unless you aren't 100% sure if its a ricochet or not. When in doubt, call it out. | |

so not counting ricochets as a hit even when it is an established rule is unfair? lol... amusing

| Take it easy. I was just saying that it's a general rule for most real airsoft fields where more than 4 people are playing. Not your mom's back yard or whatever. | |

| We generally, even if we are not playing at our official field, take the fields rules into effect, just to keep the play the same. | |

And safe! I can't seem to figure out what you meant by that.. XD Lol I meant taking the official field's rules into efffect on your non-designated field also keeps gameplay safe...otherwise the only rules in place stopping someone from fieling a hot gun or doing somehting dangerous are those that you define. Ya...it sounded less retarded when I wrote it

| okay, back to the original topic: once I was playing at my younger brother's friend's birthday party. I had my l96 and I was sitting on top of a small barn sniping at way too long a range with little efect. so about 70 yards away there's this piece of plywood leaning up against a post with a hole about a foot in diameter. my brother (who was on the other team) decided that was sufficient cover to run up and shoot at me from. I could see him through the hole, but it was pretty windy out and my rifle usually only has an accurate range of about 50 yards. finally I just decided "what the heck", adjusted for the wind and took a shot. and low and behold, I hit him in the shoulder through the hole! left a good welt too. | |

| I just did an overnite with 2 of my buddies against a 5 man team from derry, n.h. i was sent out to scout a position at night, and i saw the other team huddled down a short way away. i got to 20 feet away, took out my notebook, and began to record weapons and stats. out of nowhere, i hear a loud pop, and my notebook jerked in my hands. next thing i know, there's a dude running at me from 30 yards out with a gas- M14. i shot at him and ran. when i got back to camp, one of my buddies said i was lucky. i asked why, and he pointed to a 6mm B.B. still lodged in the notebook. | |
