Ranking Up

Hey there... i was just wondering how you rank up on this site?

Its just post count. Please don't go posting random crap only for rank though.

You rank up by posting your own threads or awnsering questions on other peoples threads. DO NOT rank post though people on this forum PMS when you do that. An example of rank posting is making two posts in a row or by posting something that has nothing to do with the topic.

sorry but its PM not PMS thats something youll have to get your parents to tell you about later! but back on topic yes you post topics and eventually rank up after a certain number.

No I think he meant PMS, as in we get really really angry when people rank post.... Which is true...

Rank really doesn't count for anything. If some people that I knew had played for a few years joined up, I would probably give them more respect than 90% of the members on this forum.... Its more about what you say than how many posts you have.

and when u do see someone post for rank, just simply remind them to stop. u don't have to go crazy and yell, just tell them that they need to stop.

I believe order goes as follow

70 posts One Star
200 posts Two Star
350 Posts Three Star
500 posts Four Star.

I think when you hit 1,000 posts you get 5 stars....... But like someone else said its not really something to worry about as long as you have some good information about airsoft and are very friendly you will get the respect of everbody on the forums.

Yeah Its nothing to worry about at all. It just means how addicted the person is to the forums

Everyone knows as much info as the next guy, a guy maybe 4 star level, could know as much as someone with no stars. Just means how long the guy's been on the forums.
Yeah please, don't post for rank. IT gets annoying, clutters the forum, and makes it look unprofessional (to me it does)

AMEN Sticks. quality not quantity. I almost find myself wishing we would do away with the rank, in the hopes that it will solve our problems....or some of them.....It causes nothing but trouble.
