Machinima!?!?!

While helping some friends on XBL make a machinima/movie i wondered whether anyone on AA enjoys whatching or making machinima?

Machinima is when someone makes a movie using a video game.

ive only seen one, which was a halo adaptation of Black Hawk Down. it looked pretty hard to do and everything. is it?

there is a dude on youtube named machinima and he is really good, i enjoy watching him.

Heck yeah! Machinima makes some of the funnyest Halo movies ive ever seen. They make some really good stuff out of pretty much any game like Halo, Cod4, Cod5, GTA IV, and a bunch of others ive linked there channel below check em' out!!!

they are hard to make you need the right people. and sometimes people can be a b*tch because they will either leave or go around a screw things up while you and your group is trying to make the machinima. Its better done if you do it with a XBL clan.

Firstly thnx for the replys but the youtube name Machinima is the youtube account for the entire machinima website. everyone that puts a video on machinima.com they usually put them on their youtube page. Machinima is just the name of the type movie making. buts thats cool that some of you know what it is. and i have seen that remake of Black Hawk Down. that stuff was done by pros

Quick question. How do you record the gameplay?

for Halo there's a video thing where you can record Live gameplay (or, at least i think that's what it is).

Most people buy a Capture card system that you hook up to your console and TV then it comes with software to record the video. Its really very easy, the hard part is havin the software be compatiable and people to cooperate.

first of all yes i very much enjoy machinima, second machinima is a whole website dedicated to the machinima movies. it is not just one person.
