| well, my local CQB place has a limit of 330 fps. my rifle is over 400 fps. this will not work. i spoke with sticks about velocity reducers, and he said they only work for about 20fps. 400-20 does not equal 330, unfortunately. so i sat down, a can of Nos in hand, and began thinking. i thought, '"Watch your language", could i just buy a new spring?' any suggestions? | |

| your gun isn't CQB. Its more of a field. BUT you can always do this. 25. gram. New Spring ETC. | |

| In my opinion, you could just spend $50 and get a tri-shot shotgun. If you really want a new spring, get something around an m100. | |

| Actually Hoss, I know of at least one 'field' in New Mexico. I've talked to a few guys from your area online that play mil-sim even. Ill be sure to edit my post once I find links or some identifiable resource for these fields. As far as field regulations go, the only way to meet their needs is to buy a new gun specifically for CBQ, or just use a sidearm. Common problem unfortunately. In fact, just a few weeks ago one of the Outlawz got a Gi custom gun with systema internals, net worth of over 1000 dollars...brought it to the field and it was shooting 50 fps too hot. He ended up using one of my spare guns. Maybe think about getting a spring shotgun or simple gas pistol in the mean time. | |

| Since most serious Playing Fields test and Proof the Guns being used on their fields with .20 BB´s, upping the weight will serve no purpose.
330FPS is 1 Joule, an M100, or M110 spring should fix your problem.

| you can change out your main spring as often as you want, just because you change them dosn´t mean you have to buy a new one every time.
and before I get myself in trouble, what maker is the gun ??
