hey guys whats up im sticks.13 in the chat....... i guess im supposed to tell you about myself so here it goes......

started Airsoft in the summer of 2002. that was pretty much springers and backyard tourneys. after 2 years i was old enough to start playing with the big boys. i got my first and only AEG, a TM M4, for 236 dollers at AirsoftSMITH in may of 2004. i used that for a year in the backyard(most OH event u had to be older to play). then i finnaly attended my first event at FUBAR (franbar 1). pretty big event (150 players) where i lerned the ropes of airsoft courtesy of one of my dads co workers, who was part of team IP(intelegence plot 2). i fell in love with sniping when Majave(my ddads friend) let me use a Tanaka Works M700 sniper for the last game of the event. i didnt get any kills with that day unfortunantly(accudently shot a ref though... stupid neutral armbands Rolling Eyes ). after that day the only thing that i wanted was range and accuracy. that was 2 years ago (goin on my third year of competitive play) and i still havent been bored at all by the world of the DM (working on becoming a spotter).

my nickname came from my brother. he said it was because i was so skinny... it just kinda stuck(no pun intended Very Happy )

^ thats my playing backround. other interesting facts about myself..... i did a 6 month internship at AirsoftSMITH, i plan on joining the US Army, from there jump school, then finally SF school, i attend an inner city school, and i know my way around a gearbox pretty well.

if you have any questions just ask. i dont bite...... that hard Cool

Lol poor ref.

Gl with the army, I used to want to join up in either the army (green berets), or the corps, but I'm not even sure if I will be going into the military, just depends on my options.

Welcome Sticks.13! Hope your transfer from the chatroom to the forum was a good one Smile It's nice to see some fellow snipers on the forum. I loved your story about shooting the ref. It reminds me of my first big tournament (Blind Fury 4 - ~300 people), where I was about 75 yards (yes about 225 ft.) from an enemy guard who was talking with a neutral, role-playing "doctor." The "doctor" was off limits, meaning we weren't supposed to shoot her, but of course there I am, so far away, wanting to prove to my fellow comrades that I was a sniper not to be messed with. I lined my shot up a little above the enemy's head to make up for the longer distance, squeezed the trigger of my UTG L96, and let the BB soar. Only a few seconds later I hear a loud crack and the "doctor" shreek from being caught off guard, BB bouncing off her goggles. Needless to say the doctor was not happy, and, considering she had free reign of terror over each team, she went and "injected" several of my teammates with poison, killing them with a ten minute wait period. It may have just been a coincidence that she killed several of my mates, but I doubt it Smile Anyway, even though I was a little embarrassed I shot the wrong person, I was still rather proud of myself for hitting someone from so far away cheers Anywho, again, welcome to the forum!
