Bluetooth or walkie talkie?

I have a bluetooth for my palm centro and i was thinking of replacing our walkie talkies with these devices. Walkies have a loud beeping sound when you recieve a message or w/e. I tried a headset for a walkie and the wires are agitating! The more hands free the less difficult for ex. If you need to talk on a walkie you have to hold it in another hand while trying to "fight off the enemy" sort of speak. What do you think?

Isen't blue tooth like cell phones?


I don't know anything about that but I found cell phones to be very...... Not useful. I don't know about you but where I live we get almost no reception in the woods. I find walkies to work better for convience mainly because of the reception issue but also some walkies are a lot cheaper than blue tooth and cell phones.

the problem with that is that in a conference call (group call) i believe that you can only have two other people besides your self.... plus you probably need a high minute plan or such

I use walkie talkies between me and my spotter and the rest of the squad. You can easily find a way to get the headset wires out of the way, and it only takes one finger to fire a rifle
