| If its between the CA and G&G go with the G&G. The G&G is superb stock and I know some people who use it stock and have no problem with it at all. They have a scary ROF and are shooting I think like 400. The reason I would stay away from the CA is because from what ive read it is a horrible gun to work on. | |

| Hobobob, Who did you hear that from? IMO neither is worth the money compared to the TM....
But CA vs G&G, both run similar stock FPS, both have similar mags, CA's build quality is much better IMO, both are a pain in the a** to work on, but G&G seems to like soft metals in its guns.... CA does not.
Its up to you though.

| Old Man who is our local airsmith hates when you bring him one to work on because he cants stand the CA but is more okay with the G&G. Also someone names 9C1 on my local forum has it and loves his. | |

| Sticks, so you're suggesting the CA over the G&G, but the TM over both? Okay thanks I'll look into the TM further. | |

sticks I don't know on this one, sticks. I read around on this one and a lot of people weren't pleased with theirs. Even AEX couldn't disguise a lot of the flaws in the gun: http://www.airsoftextreme.com/store/index.php?main_page=infopages&pages_id=22Why would TM make this gun a 7:8 model?? A lot of people said it looks really fake in comparison to other replicas, and the takedown is very hard.... For $440.00 I don't know if this even comes close to being worth it. | |

| The TM is a 1:1..... Who said it was a 7:8?
If you want a really nice replica of the real one go with the CA... If you want the best AEG on the market shooting wise go with the TM. The TM M14 hop-up is simply amazing, this gun has had multiple eye witness accounts(including myself) of ranging up to 200ft stock(about 300FPS), with .2-.25G BB's!!!! You can actually snipe with a TM M14 at 400FPS with some nice brand heavy weighted BB's... Its a pain in the butt to upgrade, but thats the same with almost all M14's. Also take into consideration that CA and G&G mags are close to $25 a pop for midcaps, whereas the KA TM compatible ones are $7, and they hold 100rnds. This is almost one of the quietest AEG's on the market! It is quieter than the TM P90, which is much much quieter than the echo 1 version. Stock you cannot hear it from beyond 50ft. I have literally seen people drop their jaws as a F/A string of BB's hits them and they didn't even hear where it came from... Its quite simply one of the best AEG's in terms of performance on the market today.
The externals on the TM aren't bad, but they are nowhere near the quality of the CA's. But this is easily remedied as you can buy RS heat guards(plastic thing in front of the chamber), and they also make wood stocks for them. The TM OD stock is very solid, I would recommend that option if you do not necesarily "need" the wood look, and or you aren't playing in Nam' games..
Edit, the local store is trying to get some in stock, I would give them a call to see when thats going to happen. they also have reduced the price to a more economical $389... Which is still less than the CA with 8 mags, this is also granted you don't loose any of the mags....

| Ouch....$389 is still a lot for this guy. he picked the CA for it's low price and reliable name. I see how the TM is so great now, thanks for the explanation but if he had that kind of money he would just get the KWA M16 BR; which was the original plan. But, fate frowned upon that idea and funding just isn't going to work out that way. So the TM does sound good, but it's just too expensive for him. So what can you tell me about a $200 CA's internals? | |
