free float

so i was looking at possable ideas for my stubby m4(for later unless i sell it) and i found a free float rail system. how does it work?

but my question how does free float work? also how long is the free float 7 inches?(the one i posted)

so i don't haved to make a new topic i measured my inner arrel without taking it out of the hop up and it measured 110 and i'm adding another 110 but can't(haven't looked much) find a inner barrel 220mm and wondering if there is more under the hop up included in the measurement

i personally like the third one, because i don't like the sight placement on number 2. it just looks messy to me. plus, the collapsible stock is going to be more comfortable for you.

for the first one it costs 131(for now it's whats going to hapen really soon the third is $201 so between now and christmas i will be done

Elimination of Barrel Wobble is all a question of construction, if you build the gun solidly, you will never have a problem with Barrel Wobble, even if the outer barrel is a 2 or 3 piece.

If you do decide to go with a Free Floating set up, lose the forward pistol grip, it applies to much pressure to one given point, when using your hand you spread the weight and stress out over a larger area.
