Am I the Only One Who Thinks This?

so i'm sitting here, pondering the problems of the airsoft world, and it hits me.
"why don't retailers give you a free can of gas when you buy a gas-powered weapon?"

what do you think? do you think they should give you a free can of gas?

probably because gas is pricey... but they should give you a discount or somthing on it

yeah, but on asgi they have ''gas-package deals, they give you a gun, gas, bbs, and a spare mag

Although I think that would be convenient to the buyer, I could think of a few reasons...
1. Compressed gasses have shipping restrictions/laws the believe it or not AS weapons do not have.
2. You would run into the same problems you did with BBs that come with the gun, the gas could be of very low-quality.
3. They would completely have to redesign the boxes that GBBs come in.

Yeah, gas IS pricey, but its not so rare that an included canister would be lifesaving. And anyways, you run out of the stuff rather quickly. That one canister would last what? a few weeks of regular use?

A canister that lasts a few weeks of regular usage is pretty decent in my eyes. A can only lasts about one week of regular use for me.

in the area witch i live in it is hard to find or have to travel to get green gas so i just use propane with some silicon spray and it works nicely

Still though Taps, even if you DO get a few weeks out of a good canister, was it really worth it? You probably paid more for your gun when the company ALSO shipped a can of gas with it, assume that most companies gave you a can of Sh**ty gas, and they gave you a huge gun box to carry around your gun with because an extra canister shipped with it.

I just don't think its worth it. You can buy canisters at just about any airsoft store, and every trip you make you might as well just stock up on gas. Its easier than going back every week for a can. (unless you go back every week anyways )

That's pretty much what I was saying...I was against it as well.
