| Ok, i need my own friggin radio for these events, i will re-state the obvious. i'm cheap. What are the qualities of a radio for team communications events. What's it gotta have, and what stuff is just crap i won't need. | |

| [b]Well... Audiovox is a good brand for radios cause they are fairly cheap/ have a good range/ have noise cancelling so it doesn't make the static noises. it also has a port for a mic. | |

| 1) You will need multiple channels 2) It will probably need a range greater then 10 miles since in the woods 10 miles = maybe 400 yards.( estimate its probably more but you get the idea) 3) Make sure the radios work with each other..some don't. 4) Battery life should be 3 hours+ 5) Needs a port for headset in case you change your mind one day. And finally give us a price range you are looking at then we can help more. | |

| Radio shack sells these ones that come in a pack of two for like $20. They are I think 10 channel and they work with my 20 mile motorolas. | |

| I am sorry zane, but 10 miles is more like 17,600 yards, not 400 yards. you don't even need a mic or headset. That is only for more of a stealth game.

| True but there usefull you don't have to sling your rifle and grab your radio say what your gonna say and then out it back its also easier to hear. | |
