| okay, guys. i'm looking for a gun for CQB, and i happened across the SA 58. i love the FN FAL, and the SA 58 is based off the FN FAL. it is a close-quarters rifle, and fires below 330 fps, which is my field's limit. so, what do you guys think about it? here it is, if you would like to see it. | I have held/fired this rifle at the local store. It is not exactly the smallest or lightest rifle at all... I would compare this too a CA M15 TC, aka the M4 with M16 stock. Except the SA is a few pounds heavier. Cosmetically its a beautiful rifle, but IMO not the best choice for CQB. It could work, but there are many better choices than the SA.

| well, i've looked into MP5s, but just about everybody who plays CQB uses the MP5. i want a carbine/shorter rifle that you don't see a whole lot of in the CQB realm. | |
