This doesn't fit EXACTLY under the 'Battle Scars' section, but I think its a good place to put it.
Lets hear all of those good old police stories you've gotten when those lovely neighbors of yours decided to call the cops on you and your friends playing with guns! I'll start:
A few days ago some buds and I were playing on a big hillside about 200 yards from the edge of any houses, out of sight and out of mind. Mid-game we had two women who traipsed through our kill zone, but us being the intelligent guys that we are, we recognized that they were wearing pink and purple sweatshirts (respectively) and were not sporting any facemasks or goggles. So we as a whole called 'Time OUT!!! Time OUT!!!' until everyone knew that the game was on hold while the women walked through our game. We explained to them what was up and they seemed alright with it since they were not on the receiving end of a rifle. 20 minutes later we get a Sheriff that rolls up to our cars parked at the bottom of the hill we were at while we were down there on a water break. He gives us a tongue lashing and takes all our information down then calls up his 'Open Space preserve division' to come talk to us. They tell us that the rules of open space pretty much prohibit Airsoft just about ANYWHERE here in Marin County, and give us an official warning that if we're caught again its something like a $200 fine and most likely our rifles will be confiscated.
Any problems from people outside the Communist Republic of California?

well, panic, i can see where they're coming from. a bunch of teenagers playing with rifles that look exactly like military hardware, kids wearing cammies and gear... not going to be liked by the local populace.

Really? All the Popo do with us is make us open the action and show the magwell. They've never taken apart a gun before. That seems kind of excessive.

all I can say is...GA on my mind
I have never had run ins with the cops before because usually we get curious people more often than cops because they can hear the guns and they know they are not real. + the green spaces are pretty much free.
