*Announcement* Two New Moderators

Hello all airsofters! Admin here - remember me? First I'd like to apologize for not visiting the site often enough. Between finishing up college (graduate this fall!), keeping a job, and now planning a wedding (I asked my girl to marry me about a month ago - finally!), I haven't had much time for airsoft. Although this has been very unfortunate, I'm planning on jumping full-force back into this forum and playing airsoft soon! I'm also planning on making a few airsoft-related investments that'll make many of you jealous - but that's a different story.

Anyway, now that all that is off my chest, let's get down to what this post is about. Because of the growing number of members and my recent lack of time able to moderate the forum, I'm adding two new additions to our small group of moderators. So far Sticks and Slob have been awesome mods, but I figure it's about time we help them out a bit. I'm adding two new Level 1 moderators, with two potential level 2 mods on the way (still waiting their responses). I know many of you have requested a mod position, and many of you were perfectly qualified, but I based my decision on maturity of candidates, recommendation by current mods, how involved they are with the forum, and how long they've been around. So, based on these qualifications, our two new mods are:

AFU & M14 Double Taps

Congratulations to these two and I expect all to treat them with the respect they've earned, just as you all treat Sticks, Slob, and myself. Also, just like you do with myself and the current mods, always feel free to message these two new mods with any questions you may have. If they don't have an answer off the top of their heads they'll take the time and find one for you.

And always remember, this forum was created for YOU. If there's any problem you have with the forum, one of its members, or would simply like to recommend something, message ME personally about it and I'll see what I can do. We may still be a small forum, but I feel as if we're one of the best. Make sure to tell your friends about it and contribute as much as you can! You've all been great members and I think Airsoft Allies has a bright future ahead.

I'm not always able to get on the forum everyday, but I do have access to my email accounts from my phone, wherever I am. If you have something you need to ask me about, email me at alliesforum@gmail.com. If you email me from your personal email account, rest assured that your email address WILL BE KEPT PRIVATE. Congrats Guys! And congrats Admin on proposing. Are we invited to the wedding because otherwise I'm gonna have to crash it, and when an airsofter crashes something it usually doesn't end well.

kkoerber: I'll be graduating this fall with a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (basically a mix of management, programming, and business networking). Hopefully I can quickly get a job afterwards and start affording all my airsoft expenditures

@ EVERYONE, I hope I fulfill my role as Moderator and make the forum a better place for everybody. I can take criticism well, so if I'm bugging you or doing anything wrong please let me know as I would like to be a good Mod. Also like ADMIN said any problems your'e having with the forum or your Kit just talk to me about it and I'll help you to the best of my ability or find someone who can. I'm sure AFU will be a great Mod as well. Cheers everybody!!

P.S.....My package I've been ranting on about has finally arrived with almost everything in it! I'll make a post about a few of the items soon....

Hey slob, luckily we all already prepared for admins death.

Ha. Very funny guys. Marriage doesn't have to be an end to my fun - just an addition to it (I write this just in case my fiance reads this lol).

Anyway, in case there was any confusion, I'm planning a wedding. We aren't getting married until next July or August. However, my girl is preparing for Pharmacy school and I'll be starting out in my future career in the upcoming winter months, so me and Joellen (AKA "First Lady" on here) are trying to do as much planning NOW as we can, while we still have a little free time. She's all for me playing airsoft though. Trust me, this was one of my qualifications in finding a good woman

You're right Double Taps, she is a mod on here (hasn't been on forever) and she does play airsoft. She, believe it or not, uses my L96 more than anything. She likes the whole idea of being FAR from opponents

Again, congrats Double Taps and AFU on your new positions, I know you guys are going to be a good addition to the team.

Congrats on the future wife and hopefully long lived couple!
