| find the date on my new helmet cover? it's Vietnam-era Mitchell Pattern, Reversible, and i don't know how to find the date it was made. i found a stamp that says COVER HELMET CAMOUFLAGE DSA100-74-U060 8415-261-6833 LOT 01MPLS. SOC. F/T BLIND INC. that's exactly how it appears. the cover is really dirty, and it seems to have a lot of red clay on it. i'm beginning to wonder if it was a Khe Sanh cover.

| I would say google it, I'll get in contact with one of the local vietnam guru's... He conveniently works at the local store. I'll hit him up when he gets back from vacation, should be a few days though.

| dang, i'm going on vacation on sunday, not going to be back 'till next sunday. i thank you, though, sticks! i appreciate it.  edit: well, i googled it, and i didn't get any results. i would ask my grandad who served in Vietnam, but he was on the USS Perkins the entire time. | |
