| 450 rounds. And Yeah If I do EVER find a place that will sell me the M1928 conversion kit, I'm going to convert my old Thompson because it needs a new barrel anyway. I wonder if they make a Cutts Compensator? THEN I would have a 1928 | |

| @Sticks: It feeds pretty well, out of 450 rds. only about four of those misfeeds where it just lobs two BBs out at a time. It doesn't have a very fast ROF to keep up with, so I shouldn't have to worry about that. Later I'm planning on doing a full review in the Accesories section with more pics and everything. It winds VERY easily and smoothly, the wheel is HUGE and easily accessed. @ Jar; I've already drooled over that gun for about 20 mins. after AFU sent me the Link. Yes it is what I want to END UP with, but I want to get it by buying the conversion kit to fix up my Old Thompson other than just buying the exact same gun in a different body again...I don't have that much money to blow!! Then I would have THREE working Thompsons | |

| The drum mag, does it load like a high-cap, with the winder on the bottom? If not I may have to get one for my Thompson, 450 isn't that much over the High-caps, but having a continual feed would be nice just for the sake of it. How do you intend to carry that during ops? I guess something like this might work? http://www.3l-intl.com/TG300B-Black-MOLLE-Gas-Mask-Drum-Mag-Pouch-p/tg300b.htmYeah, I haven't dedicated to it yet, but I was thinking of giving my Thompson real wood. - m14 double-taps wrote:

lol I have been drooling over it for a few weeks myself. That giant knob with the arrows on it is indeed the winding wheel. It winds SO easily and smoothly, it's unbelievable. I can wind it two times around with nothing but my pinky the action is so easy, free and smooth and it's got another 30 rds. loaded. Not sure where I'm going to store it but that's a great idea....I need to rig up something soon though. About the real wood, I WAS very dedicated to it, until my locale shop told me somebody had paid almost as much as the gun for their wood set. If I found a cheap one I would do it in a second. (ASGI used to have on for $80....) | |

| I took a pic, but ServeImg wont let me upload it...I figured it out. I have a pocket on my BDU's that are just BARELY big enough to fit it!! BOOM ROASTED A few problems though are that It's a tight fit and it takes some fidgeting to get in and out without damage, and it puts alot of pressure on the winding wheel, and it worries me.... Also, If you look closely on the pic with the quarter, you can see right smack in the middle of the drum theres a clip!! I can secure it in pockets and such with this...it's actually really handy! | |

| It'll work for the moment, which is all I need. Until I find it a better home. MAN I gotta say, that thing sure feels solid! Fully loaded it feels like it's about two pounds!! It really adds weight to the gun and gives it a realistic feel. When it's loaded it feels like I could whack someone and knock them out | |

| Yes. I've stated many a time that the accuracy on this gun is its Best Attribute. I've seen many reviews (Including BoomStick @ Kapowwe.com) say that this gun has the most accurate Iron Sights they've ever seen. Although it may not get quite as much distance, it's even more accurate than my KWA M4 (But we'll see about that when I get it back from the shop with its Tightbore In) That's not to say it Doesn't get Distance. Semper Fi can tell you all about the distance it gets my by showing you the "Mosquito Bite" on his neck Then again he left a nice plucker right on MY neck too! | |
