| NO!!! Its an Mp5, which means CQB, and it shoots 380 fps, too much. Save up and get the Echo1 Mp5. $10 more and 10 times better. | |

| AGREED. JG's are notorious for having a high velocity but Nothing else. They're often too powerful for their own good IMHO. With just a few dollars more you get: ~A trustworthy Echo 1!! ~A much better looking, better built, and sturdier body. ~Will last you longer for sure. ~There's an MP5 out now with a very nice Blow Back feature. | |

| I agree there is really no difference between these two guns.
The store FPS reading is never really a accurate way to compare it, look at actual reviews that chrono'd the gun then just average it out and your result is likely in the 330-360 range. Some stores use .12's in their test causing the high readings.
I don't get hits for 'kp5' (d*mn HK) but look for reviews under MP5 that were made only as recent as > 6 months ago.
The only thing about the Echo 1's is they do use CA gears in all of their MP5 variants, but these are just hard steel genuine ratio sets nothing fancy.

| actually E1s come standard with an M100 spring, while JGs come with an M120 stock. Also, E1 is known to have generally better internals. | |

| not true they use a M110 in some of there guns like the G3 SG1.
In fact Echo 1 is the one who uses a M120 in their Stag 15 models.

| yeah but not most E1s, just the stag series. there is a reason that the jgs are a little bit cheaper. | |

| Hey hey hey gentlemen no argueing here. LW is pretty mucha professonal when it comes to anything airsoft be it playing building repairing all that good stuff. So hes about the worst person to pick an argument with. However you seem to have reached an agreement so lets stop it there.
As far as JG goes in general do your hardcore research before you buy 2 of my team members bought JGs 2 of my team members have JGs that craped out in the same exact way. So I woudnt buy it based on personal experience.

So I wouldn't buy it based on personal experience. no its all good, Echo 1 does use some name parts like the CA gears but really both the JG and Echo 1 have the same attributes for this particular model. Not all of the Echo 1 and JG guns are made the same way this is the perfect example. And I had a friend whose JG crapped out by breaking the mechbox. But it happened because it would dryfire and the stresspoint at the cylinder head finally broke. As for Echo 1 they are better built because of higher QC but in the end I was wrong the Echo 1 does have a better name than JG but budget wise I recommend going Echo 1. Sorry for any confusion.

| Love the Debate I'm just saying, and Satan has seen it too, I've seen WAYY too many JG guns crap out for them to be a future investment for me. Never seen of an E1 beaking and JG plastic bodies creak a bit in comparison to E1. This is of course all IMHO, but the Biggest point I was going to shoot for in difference between the two LW already hit: QC. I must say E1 has a much higher Quality Control than JG, Like Mike said....sort of - MetallicAirsoft wrote:

In build and Whatnot, they are very very much alike I agree. But I think E1 just goes that extra mile and has better Customer Satisfaction, that is without a doubt worth a few extra dollars.
