| It's the end of an era. I just retired my last CRT. A 25" RCA Colortrak II, still works beautifully.
I was born in 1962. as a kid, I had to go to my RICH cousins' house to see TV at all, and THEY had a COLOR set, and a GIANT 19" at that. This was usually on Friday night, and as usual, my sole mission was to get my cousin to ask his parents if I could stay over. This would mean REAL breakfast cereals (at home I had, urgh, "puffed rice"...ick), and more importantly, saturday Morning cartoons, in COLOR! WOW!
I think I got Butch to hate me by gradeschool...hogging down his Frosted Flakes, dominating the "clicker" for the TV.
So in my book, a TV is more than the appliance it seems to you young-un's. But I've no place or room for it...out it goes.
"FREE DINOSAUR- WORKS" printed on a 8.5 x 11", taped across it's face, and out to the curb it went. I turned around without a goodbye.
A landscaper's truck pulled up before I could even get back into the house.
I noticed that he didn't lift with his knees. Ouch.

| Hey Killbucket !!!! Now this is a pleasant surprise !!!! Ladies and Gentelman, may I present the AS man that I inspire to be Like !!! The one the only, Killbucket If I can´t, Sticks can´t, D-T can´t or any other member on this Forum answer your question, Killbucket can !!!! Nice to have you here, and you are more than a welcome addition to the pool of knowledge '!!! P.S., I loved your build on the M134, nice work, innovative, and inspiring, an absolute shame something like that would cost me about 13,500 $ dollars, and thats just the Fine I would have to pay just for having it, never mind building it. Please keep in mind, alot of the Members here may be younger than what we are used to, but they are the Next Generation of AS Players , and who knows we may run into them on the playing field someday !! Man, that would be the Death of me, getting smoked by White Wolf while sitting in my all terrain wheelchair, with the anti-shaking attachment, and the 60 power scope just so that I can see the quick little buggers. | |

| Yes, in the 9 cubic-foot bags, like the barkdust it tasted like . Ditto the puffed wheat. My Evil SteifMutter will be served nothing but, in Hades
Sometimes I pick up a big red box of Cap'n Crunch, and eat two bowls. Makes the roof of your mouth all raw, just like it used to!
