| I hardly show this to anybody...it's the FIRST airsoft gun I customized. I'd barely glanced at a real Browning 1919 at this point, a few internet pics, and I was off and drawing. It's an odd hybrid of a mini and an old 1919, based on a working knowledge of neither. Believe it or not, this is a P90. Yes, a Stargate gun inside.... I posted a FEW pics online, and was mercilessly FLAMED! "Looks like Bugs Bunny would be holdin' it" I almost tossed it and bought a new Clodbuster, phooey on airsoft! But I DID finish it, and took it over to show the guy at the local airsoft store. I didn't get to take it home, but my pockets were jingling! I got the website domain, hand-sawed out three more bodies, took some pictures, and was in business. TWO WEEKS later, I showed up early to work, told the boss I couldn't afford the time to work for him anymore, and split. I spent HUNDREDS of hours researching the old Browning Machine guns. The 1919 Pattern file has over 1500 hours in it now! Needless to say, they don't look so goofy anymore. EDIT: Can I move this to Introductions?___________________________________________ Seen my huge, five-page minigun image repository? http://www.air-sharp.com/minigunspics.html | |

| Yeah, the guy had a customer in mind for it, and was correct. Not sure what HE got for it, but I was happy. Incidentally, my prior job was Photoshopping: | |

| What is your Website called? How long have you been doing this, and are all your models based off of HMGs? How much cash does each Replica run for?? And how long does each one take to make? Welcome to the forum, you've already added your personal touch to the place | |

Walk into an In-N-Out Burger. Order 100 Double-Doubles. You have money left over. Feeling was strangely similar the next morning....as I realized that I owned less than three days...I did all the work, and some NOOB was out firing off spectacular hip-shots with it. | Not sure who that is...I think you've mistaken me for an old friend, yes? If it wouldn't be too much trouble, I think it would be cool to see some Custom AS Replicas you've made that were based on smaller weapons. NOT THAT THESE DON'T LOOK GOOD, I'M DROOLING OVER HERE! Also, could you just make a Regular Browning M1919 if a customer requested so?

| It's past the sketch stage. You are very perceptive! Stays in the far reaches of the shop until it actually WORKS. | |

| It's far from simple to do. You have to rotate an airsoft gun around a cam so the spring is cycled, and the tappet plate lets one BB in.
There's a GOOD reason the Piper's and Echo mini's are spendy. Lots of engineering/parts!

| I'd rather take apart another 1958 Powerglide transmission. If I had one of these "real" mini's, it'd be a fiercely-protected shelf queen. I'd fire it maybe once, YouTube it (like every other guy who pony'd up $$ and is proud), and never, ever, let ANYBODY touch it.
Woo Woo, what fun. I know, metalminis aren't about fun so much, as GTF outta the way, I'm shootin' here!
I was into Clodbusters. No, you don't understand. A room full. Real sickness, RC trucks. You'll write off family, pets, beautiful women, you goldfish WILL die. The car you actually DRIVE to work falls apart, the aircleaner rots, the ashtrays spill over.
MetalMinis are like this. Get a Harley. Get a speedboat. For the foolhardy an old British roadster. They all somehow know when you get paid, and don't like watching you eat. OK, Top Ramen is acceptable. But no shakey-cheese.
Guys with Marui Thompsons USED to go hungry, not so much anymore, the clones finally arrived.
Can't wait for the $149 ASAHI CLONE. And I'll never, ever,...
