Well guys, I've been interested in sniping for a while, but now its just becoming strangely, more attractive, rawr. Okay joking aside, I'm starting to want some more hardcore sniping action. I know its not all easy, but thats what I want, A challenge.
I was looking at the UTG MK96 and it does look sweet, but my BIGGEST worry about getting it, is this.
this just scares me and I do NOT WANT it to happen to my gun. If I DON"T want that to happen, what sniper do you think I should get? I know the JG-Bar 10 is cheap, but I really don't know about it anymore. What do you guys think?
L96 or JG-Bar 10?

the bar, it seems very well, unstable to upgrade? I mean looking at the JG-bar 10 upgrade forum, it seems like its a very delicate procedure...
Is the Bar-10 easy to upgrade?

When your in a game your not going to worry about messing the bolt up. after you pull it for a while you'll get used to it. And if you mess it up, Just leave the game and put the pin back in. Id get the l96.

i would like to see you find that pin after it falls out....lol
like i said...get the bar10...Gspec or non....it your choice. and the L96 is not a gun you can run around with...you stay in pretty much one spot...

NO NO NO NO NO NO NOOOOO. Mike run don't walk away from that L96. You know me bud ive had my good experiences with snipeing and sniper rifles L96s especially. The TSD L96 is a much better weapon. HOWEVER. Honestly mike you really need something simple my DM jack bought a bar 10 as his first bolt action because i thought it is trully this stupidly simple weapon. However for the internal side if you go with the TSD i can help you with that.
Choice is yours but honestly my findings so far
UTG L96 Poorly made FPS drops a ton. I know a guy who had his drop down by 75 FPS. The bolt assembly itself is very weak as is the bolt MAJOR weak points. Also Ive seen a few UTG safteys snap like a twig.
Well L96 Well made weapon. It has a normal fps drop however it has very strange fluxuations in FPS. airsoftreveiws report says this as well. You can't trust it to make your shot everytime. However you can trust it to be a pretty good entry sniper rifle.
TSD L96 Well made as well. Once again a normal FPS drop however i reccomend a TBB quick its not the best shot but with a good barrel you can touch guys 100 yds out with accuracy. Externals are on par with Well however you have to be real careful with the screws i hear they strip easily if you overtighten.
Need more info PM me bud.

why do i doubt that a TSD L96 with TBB and touch people at 100yds? upgraded marzuens have trouble doing that...then again Ive seen a VSR10 hit a boogie board at 400 feet....

People Its me im no glory hog im nothing like that however i messured 100 yds. And of course i didnt hit it first try took me awhile to hit it once. Simply stating the fact that it will never go past that range. 200 ft is really pushing it and 150 to 200 ft it will hit he target on first or second shot. And at 300 ft it will take a clip or 2.
