| Hey, I've taken out the two body pins but the Darn thing won't detatch. Does anybody know if KWA's dissasemble differently? Also, do the two recievers Un-Hinge or do they Slide Apart? | |

| he means the gas valve on the real steal one its located on the reciever on the right side of the gun, its the little nub that sticks out, push it in and take its top off (get your mind out of the gutter) | |

| Guys, thanks but the Gas Valve doesn't have anything to do with dissasembly I just got it actually, I just wasn't applying enough force. All you need to remove are the two Body Pins and it un-hinges. Thanks for the help though, If I could lock Topics in this thread I would. | |

| Take off the delta ring. Like most guns now a days, push the delta ring out to remove the handguards. The delta ring (if i'm right) is spring set right? Push the delta ring back, and then twist it until it comes out. The delta ring is attached in by two little knobs that go in the holes of the delta ring. Your 15, I'm 13. I figured it out in 3 minutes, you should in two Pretty self explanatory but if u need pictures just ask. Wait, but this does have its batterys in the handguard right> | |

Better yet, I'm just getting a full stock most likely. this is all a huge project I'm starting, but its taking FOREVER just to get started!!! If I tale off the Delta Ring, I'll still have to fit the Wires through the Body. I don't think it'll help, but I'll try iy, thanks Mike. JARHEAD, I got the body apart, were talking Wires now.

| it moves either way... The delta ring should be two rings The delta ring itself and the upper receiver's screw, ring... thing... haha. the upper receiver ring (which i will abreeviate UPR) has two knobs that come out Imagine an O with two extra lines on the sides... any hoo the delta ring is an O with those two lines as well. Push the delta ring inwards and then match the two lines up make sure the handguards (both) are off COMPLETELY. The delta ring should pop out, and under neath is the spring that pushes it down.
To reassemble, putting everything back should be the same as disassemblilng it but backwards

| Okay okay do you understand how there are tabs that secure the delta ring inside? twist the delta ring while PUSHING IT BACKWARDS (remove the handguard first) twist and push until it lines up with the tabs. It should pop off like a spring. I could make a video... | |

| I think I'm misunderstanding what the Delat Ring is.... Because the thing I'm looking at is pushed back to re I've the hand guards, bit it doesn't twist at all and isn't I side of anything. A video would be great. | |

| Okay guys, I've got ANOTHER problem!! This babys just full of surprises, Isn't she?! I've followed EVERY step you're supposed to follow to get the MechBox out except taking out the Mag Release. Is this step really neccesary?? Because on all the other M4s there is a Screw to unscrew on the Mag Release Button. On my KWA, theres a TINY hole that looks like it MIGHT be an allen wrench hole, but NOTHING of mine fits into it. Alas, I'm stuck. AGAIN. | |

| It is necessary to remove the mag release before removing the mechbox.
You need a .5 mm hex or small Phillips head screw driver.
