Heres a small list of some of the best low-cost replicas on the market today.
List in no specific order, not ranked.

Cyma AK-47 ($110)
-Gearbox type: Type 3
-Magazine capacity: 600 rounds
-FPS: 350 fps
-Accuracy: 100+ feet
-Battery: 8.4v Large Battery
Low cost and reliability. Sets the standard for $100-$120 replicas. Great for roleplayers and beginners alike.

ECHO 1 MK-36C Ver. 3 ($150)
-Gearbox type: Type 3
-FPS: 330-360fps
-Accuracy: 120 feet
-Battery pack size: Small
Folding stock, upgradeability, and compatability with other brands are the buying points on this guy.

G&G M4 Carbine Special Edition M16 ($140)
-Gearbox: Version 2
-Range: 120 feet
-FPS: 320-340
-Battery: Small
Its G&G, what more can I say?

JG BAR-10 ($100)
-FPS: 400 with .20
-Range: 150 ft
Great springer rifle for the price. High upgradeability. Best bang for your buck

KJW Full Metal M1911 ($125)
-FPS: 330
-Green gas
Sure, it doesnt have the firepower of the other items on the list...but its beastly all the same. Great sidearm or CQB primary

Good point aveenvp, didnt put it on cuz I personally think they're too common, but after further review I switched it out with the UTG Dark Ops sniper.

Hey guys!

Since the JG Bar-10 is officially no longer being produced, I believe its time to come up with an alternative to include in the list!

How bout we get the conversation going...

I like the list, but I have shot the Echo1 G36, and I must say that I was MUCH more impressed by the Echo1 M4 RIS. Just my opinion Very Happy

Id say the AGM L96. Review here

or

the UTG L96..simular price and pretty somular quelity, Review here

And perhaps lets divide it into AEG, GBB, Rifle, ect and make a official "best one" list for beginers. We can use this thread to debate this as new weapons comes out. eg

BEST AEG:
First place: Smurgle Plurple
Second place: Penguis Maximus
Third place: Smurly Smurly twist and twirl

AGM makes the worst guns I have ever seen. Sorry, but I would say absolutely no-go on that.
The UTG MK96 is a great gun, though. Especially for a beginner.

It's tough, the Bar-10 was one of the best starter rifles out there... Sad

Generaly I would agree with you, but the L96 is decent..its no worse then the Bar 10 was. (Not great but decent)

True, but I mean finding a replacement seems a bit odd. That was my go-to rifle for starter suggestions.

Well lets just decide on an alternative...and maybe in a few months the Bar-10 will go back on the assembly line outside of China.

But is it a direct clone of the Bar-10?
Anyone on here own a TSD M700 that can vouch for it?

I'm going to go look, but I thought TSD was a chinese company...I may be mistaken, however.

EDIT:
Oops ya...TSD is american...but they are re-branders. Meaning they'd buy from JG and just "modify" them for legal resale. (Someone please confirm that TSD is a re-brander.)
If that is the case, it may be that TSD is going off the market also... considering they're losing all those Chinese companies also...

Umm, as of right now I'm not sure I think they make it them selfs, because the specs are different, the barrel is longer by about 3/8 of an inch, and the stock is shorter by about 3 inches.

I'll buy one um soon my next pay check I think which is Tuesday.
