| After 8 days of waiting, my order of an interceptor vest and dropleg holster (both in MARPAT) finally arrived from across the pond. The first thing I noticed was that the package looked too small to be a vest and holster. It wasn't even in a box, it was just a bundle wrapped in plastic and tape. It was actually surprisingly easy to open, but as soon as I opened it it started off-gassing something that probably gives factory workers horrible diseases. I left the stuff outside for a few hours just to be safe. The stuff IS made in China, so it's cheap, and it's not going to be made perfectly to specs. BUT, it seems durable enough, and should perform just fine on the airsoft field. The Interceptor on their website really does come with 4 mag pouches, 2 grenade pouches, and what is either a medic pouch or an equipment pouch (it looks bigger online than it does in real life, but it's plenty big enough to hold a bag of bb's or your drum mag). And of course shoulder pauldrons, neck guard, and groin protector. The MOLLE system works perfectly. The color is a bit off though. Instead of tan, the vest uses sage, but the difference is hardly noticeable. The holster meets all my expectations as far as adjustability, comfort, and accommodating a sidearm with something (in this case a flashlight) on the rail. I wore it for a couple hours without discomfort. tl;dr: http://airsoftbb4u.com/ is a legit site, but they're not super high quality. Worth what you pay. | |

| I posted reviews of both items the day I got them, but I don't think they're going to show them. They probably don't have anyone on staff who can read english and/or someone who cares about customer reviews.
Just thought I'd give another quality assessment now that I've had the stuff a while.
It seems the plastic parts on the waistband adjustment straps are prone to shattering. If you plan to get more than a year's worth of use out of this vest, be prepared to replace buckles and plastic fasteners, or just tie the straps back together (which is what I did) when a plastic fastener broke.
Because I've been cramming AK mags into pouches made for M4 mags, the hook-and-loop on the flap hasn't been lining up quite right. This has caused the trim on the fabric on the mag pouch to become frayed.
The holster causes the same problem that 90% of holsters cause. If you have a sidearm with a push-button clip-release, a slight bump will release your clip if it's still in the gun when you holster it. So IF you have a push-button clip-release, take the clip out before holstering it. I ALMOST lost my ONLY clip TWICE (due to dropping it, but finding it later) because of this.
The color is off, but that doesn't make any difference at all. My MARPAT boonie is off from my TruSpec MARPAT TRU and the vest is off from both of those, but as camo it's still just as effective. You can't tell the difference from 20 feet away.
Again, the pouch on the back is kind of small. The most I can cram into it is a bag of 2000 BBs, 2 AK mags, 2 energy bars, 8 packets of Emergen-C, and an 8oz flask (of water. I think I'm the only person on this planet who uses a flask for water). That was a very tight fit. I've also since moved the pouch to the front, because it's very hard to reach behind you (hooray fully-functional MOLLE).
One thing I didn't notice until recently is that there is room in the back for a water bladder. There's even a hole for a hose to come out at the top and a flap to conceal the hole. (There should be enough room for armored plates, but I suspect not.)
I wouldn't recommend a plate-carrier to anyone unless they usually move with a squad or play for long periods of time without resupplying. Plate-carriers in general make it more difficult to maneuver stealthily, but they offer lots of real-estate for carrying lots of stuff.

| YEAH! for finding out that you can do so much more with what you have. It's always nice to find out secret things on your equipment. | |

| Another ongoing review:
Quality is now a major concern for this site. Stitching is of poor quality, construction isn't perfectly to specifications, and as I said before the plastic buckles are prone to breaking.
If I were to go back and suggest something different, I would get a plate carrier from Evike and pouches from airsoftbb4u. This site has a better selection than anywhere else I've seen as far as having lots of different pouches and things in lots of different colors.
Pricing is very straight-forward. No tax, free shipping, no hunting for discount codes. The price listed is the price you pay.
I said before that the back pouch is a bit small, and it is if you're going to leave it on the back (which is terribly inconvenient). If you're planning on moving it around to the front like I did, it's a bit bulky, and bounces when filled with stuff (even when it's properly woven on, which at first it wasn't).
In general, I would steer airsofters away from the Interceptor. Sure, it looks sweet, but the groin protector gets in the way more than anything else, and though the shoulder pauldrons take some of the weight off your shoulders, they're a bit too bulky to be justifiable, especially once you start to fog your goggles from the extra heat. No complaints about the neck guard, but it's not really necessary. A more generic looking plate carrier is probably more practical for airsoft.
