| If its an AEG, the battery would get soaked... and that's not good... If you mean like a spring sniper, I would say.. duck tape the barrel, and seal up the body to the bolt?? | |

| I dare say it's near impossible for an AEG...although Mike is correct in saying that a springer may be able to be properly sealed with tape, pvc sealer, or some other method.
I honestly wouldnt try it..cuz you run a risk of permanently damaging the gun.

| maybe he wants to play as a sniper role? If you are going to swim from one place to another... (cause honestly I don't see someone shooting from underwater)
buy a waterproof bag... enough to fit the sniper rifle... and put it there, when you come out, rush out to get the sniper out... But still, seal the edges from the body to the bolt...

This upgrade is not easy at all to have just a waterproof gun. Because the gun needs AIR to work hence AirSoft. You could possibly seal the bolt and and the spaces around it with seals. Then buy a rubber barrel cap. Just caulk the seams from the inside of the gun, don't use too much. I don't see much reason though to be going through water, just for airsoft. I understand a shallow creek, but anything like a pond or lake is just not necessary for a game and you always run the risk of drowning when you are swimming a couple of pounds in gear across deep water.
