| I need a Quick primary on this limited budget. I have $165 to spend on the AEG alone, so here goes:
What I need: Must be able to use m4/m16 mags-must be a DMR or long range field gun. What I want: Reliability (after this whole G4 nightmare I want something that might actually last) and BUILD QUALITY (I want to feel like I'm holding something sturdy)
I would much prefer to order off of airsoft GI
PS. and one more thing. try to make it look somewhat unique, I'm somewhat sick of the generic M4 look.

| so the stag arm series? the only thing that turns me off about them is the stories of barrel wobble. otherwise that would be my choice. | |

| You can fix the barrel wobble. What I HATE ABOUT IT, The hop up is impossible to take off the barrel with one person alone, and i've seen many people complain about this. Its feels as if it was glued on. I needed two people to take it off, and in the end, the hop up spacer and the bucking got ruined, so now, i'm gun less, cause it happened today. Thank you "Watch your language" echo 1. And now, I'm forced to buy another hop up unit BY ECHO 1 (the exact same, just with the hop up spacer in,) and a new systema bucking.. Thanks for nothing echo 1... | |

| Insane merc... really? Why would I take my hop up off for nothing... I was switching tight bores, for a long barrel gun, the hop up/accuracy sucks, so I switched barrels. Not taking off my hop up, just to break it and call echo 1 a bad brand... | |

| Was it..? No i'm pretty sure I was installing a tight bore before finding out, that it required brute force of a Don't use the Lord's name in vain. to take out. Don't belive me its hard to take out the hop up piece from a stag 15? http://www.airsoftretreat.com/forums/index.php?action=printpage;topic=84880.0might I add, I google searched "How to remove barrel from hop up" not "How to remove barrel from echo 1 hop up" and I got the exact same results i needed... echo 1... yeahhh | |

| pretty good, very well built but it is light. i mean its not the best but very reliable, its plastic so thats the light. you may want the "standard" ugrades, aka barrel motor hopup, then like bipod and sights, also a battery, the stock ones dies quite quickly. but the gun stock still works great. truely a recomended gun. | |

| I'll be running it on a 9.6, so that should do fine. I do plan to use a scope, but internal work won't happen for a while. | |

First off i'll say I own that gun and have had no problems with it other then the usual jams you get out of any gun. Its light accurate at decent ranges has a pretty good ROF for only runnin' a 8.4 stock battery. I have no upgrades in this gun and it can keep up with my buddys upgraded Echo 1. My other buddy of mine has had the same gun for 3 years now and hasent had any major problems with it. The only thing thats broken on the gun is the charging handle which is easily fixable. Another gun you may want to look into are the Combat Machine M4's for another $15-$20 you can get a very reliable M4 that has blow back and a higher ROF along with a better build becuase Combat Machine is a part of G&G's company. Links http://www.airsoftgi.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=combat+machineEven though there out of stock right now it would be worth the wait because I cannot explain how much I like these M4's.

| those have been out of stock for about a 6 months now, and after the problems with my G4 I am sorta turned off of the combat machines. | |

| Ah yes Bostons good old Stag m16 PM me or him for the "nitty gritty" details. What i can tell you now. 9.6 is a no no it can't handle it you WILL break it and soon. on the stock theres a cheaply made QD mount cheap nontheless effective however it is bright reflective shiny piece of plastic so watch out for that. accuracy is quite good as is ROF with an 8.4 large type. antoher flaw to insert the large type u ave to remove the stock the rear door where you insert the batt is a lil small even for an 8.4 mini. sights are same as they all are average general nice sturdy weapon absolutly and no barrel wobble
mike i hear ya my man the JGs hop wont come off either and im quite sure at this point the bucking and hop it quite destroyed ( 2 hours to get it half way off). once again for more info look up Boston under members or PM me for the small stuff
o and wtach out for wiring steve took out his motor and the wires came apart he fixed it with electric tape (took bout n hour) and now it works fine but be wary.

| yeah, many simple wire breaks are easy to fix in guns like this. a few simple connectors and some shrink wrap , claen off the rubber with wire working tools and you good, and itll be twice as strong, so no wrooies, the gun will last with usual maintenince. | |
