| Purchasing this pretty hunk of metal. My good ol' G36C is not so "good ol'" anymore. It is requiring way too much work to make it CQB-ready. What do you guys think of it? CQB is going to be 95% of any games I play, by the way. | |

| Blowback is just unnecassary bullshit to me, my friend. I don't know, I there's just something about the combat machines that I don't like anymore. Also, if you guys have suggestions, I don't want any of the stubby weapons. I do want full metal and something that'll use simple STANAG mags. And a low FPS. 330 is the max at my field, and it costs $30 bucks to have the spring cut down. | |

| Yeah, but I just... I have more confidence working with my rifle team rifle than I do with my airsoft rifle. Which I renamed. | |

| If you don't need all that rail space get this plus something like this and have the field tech install it or if you don't care about the stock spring, have them trim it instead and save $12. Even paying $30 to have your field work on still makes that gun leaps and bounds better then that pile of parts JG which by the look of things still requires a battery box so that's another $25 or so for that. | |

| I have been considering KWAs for awhile as well. This is going to sound wierd, but I do not like to play with uber small rifles. For example, when I rent a rifle at my field, I always rent a long M4. I just feel more comfortable with a longer rifle, which is really why I am trying to steer clear of weapons that are labeled "CQB Length"
And I realize the Diplomat is a fairly small rifle, but I am considering buying a barrel extension for it.

| Consider KWA's M4A1 then maybe. It's only $5 more over the Diplomat. | |

| Never been a fan of the M16 personally due to it's long length. But if you don't mind it that should be a nice gun, can't really go wrong with an Echo 1. | |

| I know. But it just looks nice to me. They normally don't appeal to me, but that one does.
I mean, it's full metal, it's got trades, comes with optics, RIS, and a crane stock.

| they arnt quite full metal, but you can't go wrong with a Tokyo Marui... they will be well inside ur FPS limit, and it will last forever if you leave it stock. idk about ur experience with high end guns, but the ABS isn't what you find on a JG or Echo 1, it much higher of quality and i really don't think TMs need metal bodies....what needs to be metal is metal already also i just looked at the new m4 SOPMOD and it has a aluminum construction if the price doesnt get you down... http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_44_231&products_id=30661 | |

| I will say this about TMs. They are excellent rifles, but I don't see myself buying one anytime soon. Plastic bodies are a bit of a turn off to me. I like to use rifles that are made out of the exact same or at least close to the same materials as their real-steel counter-parts. For example, if I buy a M16A4, I expect everything to be metal except the handguard, the stock, and a few other parts here and there. I've used TM M4s at my field before, and they work just fine, but I hate that plastic-y feeling they have. They feel too light to me. I do appreciate you trying to help me out, though. | |
