| Did you write that or did you buy it like that cause the passage is incorrect. (It should say "Fear" no evil. Thats what i mean.) | |

| Well, I'm always trying to think of new things to put on my helmet, but the big thing for me is making it "Era Correct". For example, I want my helmet to be more of a late 1968 impression. So, I can't have anything on it that would come after late 1968. And, my mom would whup me if I had any sort of profanity on it. I already got in trouble over my last cover. (It had the good ol' "If I Die in the Combat Zone, Bury Me Upside Down So It Can Kiss My Ass") | |

| Well, my goal was to find some Lucky Strikes, but it is "Watch your language" hard to find them! I even went out to the Indian Reservation, where you can buy sticks of "Watch your language" dynamite, but no Lucky Strikes.
And I haven't heard of not being able to have filtered. My grandad served in 'Nam in the Navy, and he smoked both kinds whenever he got some. I'm not saying I don't believe you, I'm just saying I haven't heard of that before.

| well thats navy, i went into a ciggarett shop a few days ago looking at zippos, and the owner served as infantry in nam, (crazy pot smoking hippy that got thrown over there) and he was saying you got a pack of filters before you got there then all the cigs they got in nam were non filtered camels, maralbro, or lucky strikes. it was to field dress them, its harder to spot a little burnt peice of paper the wind could blow around then it is to find a filter that only roles around. | |

| I still don't know, man. I've seen quite a few pictures of soldiers and marines with half-smoked filters in their helmet bands, and in most of the pics, their gear and cammies have had months worth of field "Watch your language" on them. Perhaps it was his unit only? | |

| Yeah, I've been looking all over the place, and really the only two brands that were seen In-Country and whose packaging has remained basically the same are Marlboro Reds and Lucky Strikes. So, I was forced to stick with Marlboros. Of course, the majority of cigarettes found in the field were Marlboro Reds, mainly because they came in the C-Rats. | |

| yeah, mostly because those are made in the u.s. when camels are made with turkish tabbaco so the government only tried to get those to the troops, so wheres the rest of the uniform? | |

| Well, I've been trying to finance that. See, I need to acquire a bunch of other stuff, which is very expensive and hard to come by. For example: I need a 3rd Pattern Poplin blouse. They are very hard to come by, and repros cost about $100 a piece. That's for the blouse ALONE. Trousers are another $100, web gear is close to $200, and rifle w/ 3 mags is about $325. The only reason I have the cover is because I already had the Steel, and I found some covers for $20, so I grabbed one. | |

No worries, Satan, I don't smoke. It pertains to the topic because we are discussing how to make the helmet/helmet accessories more realistic.

| New Word! (Borat Accent) Hiya-Five! What do you think about drawing the Duke on my helmet? I mean, come on! John Wayne is awesome! Or maybe Hoss Cartwright, seeing as Hoss is my callsign. Although, I can do an awesome John Wayne impression, and I must take that into account. Dangit. | |

| i like it, for a helmat it looks good, me head gear is made of hemp (yes marijuana twine) but im liking the hemp more then the standard jute, cheaper stronger and isn't much hevier, the only problem is you have to spray it down or wash the ghillie a few times because when you get it people will think ur a stoner. plus the other team knows what pot smells like ur covers blown. | |

| ok well hemp is the stems of marijuana turned into twine, well it still has the smell from the plant. well you can wash it to get the smell out of it, but when you first get the hemp youll know. the problem is i bought 20 lbs of it for 20 dollars, well when i opened the box it lets out the smell (if you walked im my room youd think the only thing i did was smoke pot) well after i got the head cover i went down to where i work to show it off, well not realizing it i smelt like weed in front of my manager ha | |
