Is This Possible?

A guy at my field has a rifle that fires 30 rounds a second. He is evil. When he fires on "semi", it fires 3-4 bbs. I asked him if he had a MOSFET, and he said he didn't. When I spoke to another player about it, he said he thought maybe the guy's piston was a little stripped, thus allowing for 3-4 bbs to fire, rather than 1. Another guy I asked said maybe the rifle was just so fast it fired 3-4 rounds unitentionally.

Can anyone tell me if that is even possible, or why his rifle is doing that? This is making me curious.

No a stripped piston would not let you fire 3-4 bbs at once....it wouldn't let you fire any bb's at all.

Most likely it is a mod, or lies. On the sector gear there is a nub on the bottom of it that contacts a cut-off lever. This is what regulates semi-auto on all V2 gearboxes. He could have install the wrong sector gear, or the one he is using is so badly damaged that it doesn't contact fully with the lever until the 3-4 shot. Which is not cool at all.

And 30 RPS. he could be using a high voltage NIMH/CD or a LIPO. So most likely he installed hi-speed ratio gears that are not the greatest quality and are the reason why he doesn't have semi-auto.

Okay, thanks, LW! Yeah, that guy is a little bit of a douchebag, so it may have been lies. (We were on the same team and he shot me with a good 90 rounds or so because he "thought I was on the other team")
