Hi, my name is Chris Halkiadakis, im from Longisland, New York. I came to this forum to learn alot about airsoft and good purchases. I'm currently playing casual airsoft with my buddies, with my g36c automatic with a broken barrel. I wanted to find out any good, but not so pricey websites that sell gear like helmets,vests,pants,shirts and stuff in that category. I'm also pondering about buying a ECHO 1 Model 249 MKII MK2 Machine Gun from http://pyramydair.com. This gun costs roughly 300-400 $ but im wondering if anyone can refer me a less costly site, but the same model. I love laying suppressive fire upon my enemies in the field, and I find this weapon very suitable. I love M249's so much! I also was wondering if anyone can tell me if its possible to add a elcan scope modification to the m249 rail system.

Umm. No any support weapon with a high ROF and reinforcing upgrades is going to cost you $300-$400 on any site.

Anyways welcome to the forum.

Are pricy weapons more reliable than less pricy weapons? As in, will they last longer, wont break easier and such?

pretty much yeh.. Airsoft is one of those things where you get what you pay for.

For boots and bdu's try lapolicegear.com or uscav.com or even eBay
Uscav.com has some. Good real gear but I wouldent trust anything under $120 from them.
