| Although in theory the idea of a forum secret santa could work. . . how would you solve disputes such as person B received person D as the guy he needs to buy a present for, but decides to save his money and not buy the gift. Person B gets a present from person C (Good for him) person C gets his present from person D (Good for him) (Person A got himself so he buys himself a watch. . .) but person D never got his present.
Naturally someone has to have done a lottery to determine who buys for who, so he is contacted, and in turns contacts person B only to discover that person B refuses to buy said gift. . . see where I am going?
Without the ability to actually talk to said person face to face, there is just too much danger involved in a secret santa. | |
