| Okay, this is just a little tip from me. If you have a Bundeswehr loadout (German military: flecktarn, G36 or MP5, etc.) I have a suggestion for a pistol. It's a Y&P Non blowback USP style handgun that uses green gas or propane, but is still NBB. It seems like a nice sturdy build and Evike claims it performs well. It isn't blowback so you don't have to mess with cleaning dirt or sand out of the ejection port. It's priced very low but seems like a great pistol. I came across it while I was looking at cheapo gas pistols; I might even get this one myself Just my suggestion. | |

| If I remember correctly, you can still find some Walther P38s and a few M1911A1s in Bundeswehr armories, as well, so I guess those could be sidearms too.
@alex Yes it is. They use just about every H&K product, haha

| USPs are generally chambered in either .45 or .40
I think they have a contract with H&K.

| I know! When I found it I almost died but then I realized I was too happy to die! Hahaha
In all seriousness it seems like an excellent pistol at an excellent price, from a fairly excellent retailer. My list is growing! This will take ages...

| The best part is its non-blowback. don't get me wrong, I love when they look realistic, but Blowbacks eat A LOT OF GAS!!!! | |

| Actually jarhead although americans typically use .45 usp, the standard issue german sidearm is chambered in 9mm para and designated the P9. | |

| Are you sure? Because from what I've read, the USP is generally chambered in only .45 ACP or .40 something-or-other, depending on the unit. I also haven't heard of any American units using the USP. I've only heard of Americans using the P228, M9, or M1911. This is making me curious. | |

| Oh, okay. But then... wouldn't it be the other way around? the military would want a harder hitting round and law enforcement would want a less lethal round, right? | |

| That's what they want you to think Haha, just kidding. I know that the USP is available chambered in .40 or 45, I just don't know who uses them. | |

| According to Wikipedia, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Singapore, and the United States use the USP, for various military branches, units, and police units. | |

Pretty sure the P9 has been replaced or is on the way out. The USP/P8 is now considered the standard issue sidearm for the Bundeswehr. Anyway i have a friend who's thinking about getting one. Not because it's a USP but because it's a cheap yet quite decent green gas pistol. Personally though, i'm probably going with the KWA KP45 USP for my Bundeswehr loadout, assuming i get my job back for the summer that is. I'm just a poor sucker for KWA or else i would seriously consider getting the Y&P.

Actually, being a german gun, it would be chambered in 9mm luger

It will work for just about any song, I've noticed, haha. Right now he's dancing to Okie From Muskogee by Merle Haggard. @elementfrvr Yeah, it's the P8 now, I checked with Combat Handgunner (my Redneck Bible, haha) @Omega Lambda I believe 9mm Luger is the same as 9x19 Parabellum. (As a Sidenote: Jesus, my entire post has been one big ol' post of Redneck. This goes appropriately with my post, haha)

| haha I know, it was a joke that's what the Germans called their 9mm shell before we stole and copied it, calling it something different of course. | |
