Ok first off, "Rusty M16A4" if you don't want to wear safety glasses there is nothing we can do to stop you. But I will tell you this, regular prescription glasses will NOT protect you. If they do consider yourself lucky, but more likely you'll be paying for medical bills and a prescription monocle. It doesn't even matter if you play every day or once a year. It can happen at ANY time. I get shoot in the face on several occasions, and we don't aim for the head either. And not spending money on glasses? Your local Wal-mart will sell a cheap pair for $5, and those are still better than prescription glasses.
I have friends who have had their teeth shot out, eyes hit, etc. So I put safety above everything else. I have spent more in safety glasses than I have in gear because I have tested everything and immediately get rid of those that I don't like (From full face mask to only eye goggles).
And if it prevents an eye injury, I will send you a pair that I haven't given away.
I'm going to lock this topic for now, if anyone has anything else to add you can PM me.
