| Okay, my friend is willing to sell me his barely-used JG M4A1. My other friend bought it from AirSplat (new), didn't take it to a single game, sold it to my friend for $50, and he hasn't used it in a game either. He's willing to give it to me for $40. So... I would assume this is an excellent deal, but I just wanted a few opinions on the gun itself. I'll watch a few reviews, but I figured it couldn't hurt to get your opinions. Thanks

| Well honestly mate, for $40 thats more than just a good deal. He's likely trying to rip you off. Why don't you request to see the gun and have a "test drive" so you can get an opinion for yourself? | |

| Haha, I don't see how $40 could be a rip off. He's a good buddy of mine anyway. Also this is the only AS gun he's owned, so I don't think he'd know how high (or low) it should be priced. Even if it's disappointing I can still upgrade it. I'll most likely test fire it when I pick it up to influence my decision, but I know that he wouldn't try to cheat me. I just thought of it as a good opportunity to get an AR15 platform to tinker with, maybe use it in a few games or CQB. | |

| One of the guys i play with has it. It's not a bad gun but he wishes it was more powerful for outdoor games. | |

| I guess what im trying to say is, the rails and body alone are worth more than 40 dollars. It may be a good investment. If i were given that price and could trust the seller, I wouldn't hesitate. As a project or part rifle, I mean.us | |
