| Well I'm wondering, how long does a AEG last on average? Especially An Echo-1 G36k...
It's always worried me so Im just wondering, and what are some signs of it breaking etc...
How much could it cost to be repaired?

LWs right-Let's keep in mind what an AEG is: A big metal/ABS plastic outer shell with hundreds of different gears and parts inside, each of which can be very delicate, very sturdy, cheaply made, or high quality; every part is different from the next, same company or not. So let's say your E1's motor wasn't set in the grip properly and the Pinion Gear strips the Bevel Gear. You'll need to buy one of those two parts again, (if not both) but that doesn't neccesarily mean the AEG itself is broken-- the rest of it is still good. It's kindof like a cycle, one thing breaks, %80 of the time you just replace it with a better part and move on, then another part might break later and you just replace that one. A bad spring doesn't mean you have to throw the whole gun away-see what I'm getting at? Also, it does depend on what's in it. In your Echo, if you drop in a M150 spring and upgrade nothing else-I'll give you a month, atr the longest before your gun is crying. If you run the saetup it comes with, or do all your upgrades just right, you shouldn't start to see problems for a good two years, If it was built with all quality parts. Whoo, okay, I'm done

| That's what were here for!!! When it happens, IF it happens, come to us with whatever problems you have. It also helps to learn to do it yourself. There are actually many useful tutorials on Youtube that can walk you through step by step GB takedown and rebuild...it's where I learned. | |

| M14 -D-T, summed it up pretty well,
If you maintain your gun correctly, don´t go doing Insane tuning ( M150 in a Standard GB ), and research before attempting repairs ( Cheapest and less aggravating way ) your AS Guns can last years.
I.E., we have some guns that have been kept standard for CQB/CQC, never been opened, only had Buckling Upgrades, most of the Guns are over 3 years old, and a handfull are older than 5 Years old and still going strong. Just so nobody says it, they are used quite often, and externaly they look like crap ( Had the dog snot beat out of them being dragged around ), but they are reliable and put BB´s on Bodies.

| also be sure to treat your gun as real steel i.e. cleaning out the barrel etc so as too prevent any other little problems that could cause your AEG to go into disrepair | |
