| If you mean in reallife yeah (atleast were the g18 is) It has a extended clip allowing for 32..or is it 34 rounds..I forget but it basicly becoumes a SMGsince you can get a detachable shoulder stock.
If oyu mean airsoft, no generally thier bad since you pretty much have to go electric and your accuracy and FPS suffers greatly. | |

| I'm currently looking at a full auto gas pistol which received a good review from red dragon airsoft. It really depends on what you want out of your sidearm. What kind of quality/price are you looking for? What style do you want (M9, USP, Glock, etc.)? How realistically do you want it to function (single/double action, blowback/non-blowback, auto/semi)? How powerful do you want it to be (CO2/gas/electric)? | |

| i was actually looking at the cyma CM03 and the well r2c or whatever the well scorpion is. So far, neither of them are looking great, but i think the cyma glock will end up winning cuz of its lower price. The only reason im looking at full auto pistols is because my smg is too big to fit in my pocket, and therefor, by my definition, is not a good sidearm. Well, as for power and realism, Im not a big fan of blowback, considering it takes away power that could be used in firing the bb and puts it into pushing back the slide. I also think id want it to be electric for sure, because i have no experience in gas powered guns and i think buying gas all the time could be a big drawback. I just want it to be powerful enough to feel it and accurate enough to hit someone 50 feet away at least once after emptying a whole clip. And also, a little FYI here, there is a very small chance of me getting a new pistol anytime soon since i just ordered a buncha stuff off amazon which will be arriving tommorow. Im getting a bipod and a red dot scope/sight thing. I would got an extra mag, but it was 6 bucks shipping which made it 11 bucks total, which i think is a bit high for a springer mag that holds 37 rounds. Oh one more thing. I just learned that my friend got a springer with a 400 round clip!!!! Thats ridiculous!!! when are you ever gonna shoot 400 bbs, and why the "Watch your language" would he also have an extra mag?!?!?!? I apologize i trailed off there. | |

| Haha SMGs aren't necessarily made for sidearms but more as secondary weapons, so if your primary runs out or the battery dies you can quickly switch to your secondary. This means having it on a sling on your back or something of the sort. | |

| Yeah I don't really see a use for sidearms in airsoft, that is if you have a secondary. That's why I always look for cheap NBB pistols for under like $50, there's no point in spending more on something that doesn't get used enough. | |

| I have a WELL G55 MP5K. It's an excellent sidearm for Close Quarters. Fires 20 rounds a second, gas powered, realistic take down... the only thing I have to use tools to take apart on the gun is the trigger mechanism and the loading muzzle thing. I'ts really realistic. You have to pull the charging handle to get the mag started. | |
