How Do I Eliminate Sling Burn

I get sling burn a lot from the sling rubbing against my neck. I've even tried putting the sling under my collar, but it's still not helping. Do you guys have any solutions?

Get some Electrical tape or Duct Tape to make it slide nicer.......

That's why I like the ACU construction. The mandarin collar can be worn up and that helps protect your neck a little better, as well as completely eliminating sling burn. I liked the construction so much, when I got my MARPAT uniform, I got it in the ACU construction rather than the authentic marines construction.

Alternatively, you could wear something around your neck like a balaclava, shemagh, or just tie a T-shirt around your neck.

Where were you planning on putting that tape? on your sling or on your neck? lol

I wear a shemagh, but it doesn't work for eliminating sling burn, for some reason. Haha, I guess I'll put the tape on my neck

the slings that come with UTG sniper rifles are the best. they have rubber on the parts were it touches your neck and such. really comfortable. just look around for them

I don't know, I really like my Matrix and Condor one-points. They've seved me well. I'll check them out though
