| Well, I'm trying to get the ugly-ass orange PDW flash hider off Mary, and it won't come off. I just put it in front of a hair dryer for 15 minutes on the highest setting, and all it did was make the front iron sight unbearably hot. | |

| It's the navy-style flash hider right? Those things have a little black clip sort of thing you have to unlatch, then twist it like 10 degrees and pull it off. | |

| It's that one. It's screwed into the threads and glued | |

| I'm pretty sure you're screwed. The one on my friend's AEG WELL MP5K is shorter than that one and it has threads on it.
By the way the lugs on it are for the navy style flash hider. You could always buy a black one and stick it over the orange tip. | |

| Sorry, all the pictures I've seen of G55's don't have the flash hider on and even so there's no threads. | |

| Yeah, I haven't seen any either. Thanks for the help, though. Perhaps I'll email somebody in Hong Kong or something since it is not illegal for them to tell me | |

| @Lone Wolf I thought of that, but I want to be able to put on a silencer at some point. | |

| Look, get pliers, and twist it as hard as you can. If it has a 14mm thread underneath it will be noticeably smaller, but still there. That is built into the gun front sight. Saw? Buy a new front sight and take that one off... | |

| I don't know where to get front irons for this gun. It's not built into the front iron, though. The iron is metal and the flash hider is plastic. I know for sure that it's glued, because when I remove the inner barrel you can see the glue sticking out. I'll try the pliers though. Thanks | |
