| Okay, I was playing COD and they sometimes radio their call sign as "Bravo Two-One", while sometimes it is "Bravo Two-One Actual." What does the "Actual" mean, and when would it be used? | |

| It means that the actual leader of the group/squad/whatever you wanna call it, is on the radio, not the squad's radio operator. | |

| Military: Used to distinguish the commander from the radioman when the call sign is used. Civil: "Actual" is sometimes used in place of "Alpha" for phonetic alphabet. | |
