Do i store my CO2 gun with the CO2 canister in or not?

I just Got a Crossman C11 and I would like to know whether or not to leave a CO2 canister in at all times or not.

You should store it with the cansiter out. Even if just the canister is in, it is still a loaded weapon, and poses a safety hazard not only to yourself, but to others around you. Just try to use all the Co2 before you store the gun.

Also, leaving the CO2 canister in for more than a week or so can permanently damage the internals of your CO2 gun. Try to use a whole canister before storing it.

NO! You should leave the CO2 canister in, if you don't your gaskets will dry and break causing leakage.

completely disagree, they would be under constant pressure causing more wear than co2 could do good keeping gaskets wet

I leave it in because I don't use all the Co2 as you already know when you pull it out the Co2 canister empties. But I really shouldn't do that it's a safty hazard. My point empty and get it ready for a new one after every use.
