| Well, here's the backstory.
I made my order from ASGI, of 6 items, on January 11th. They "printed my invoice" on the 12th, and I got the package on the 15th. Everything's pretty much normal up to this point. I look inside the box, and they just crammed my plate carrier in there, and it was bent from being in there for several days. Then I look at the invoice and one of the items was highlighted, apparently meaning it wasn't in the box. Then, I check my order status on their website, and it says "01/15/09 - Partially Shipped"... I got the package ON the 15th. Thanks for telling me, guys. I guess they had miscounted their inventory, and said there was 1 more pouch in stock when I ordered.. So I ordered it. NOPE, they didn't have one. They didn't tell me anything, they just highlighted it on the paper before they sent it.
To add on to my frustration at the time, the EIGHT magazines I had bought for $56 did not work in my rifle. That part was mostly my fault but I was still pissed to high heaven. I tried calling, and they shouldn't have closed for another hour or so, but no one answered the phones. So.. I sent the RMA department a sincere e-Mail telling them of their mistake, and that I wanted to return the magazines.
Now we get to the more current details.
A FU*KING WEEK LATER, I got a reply. The guy asked if my magazines were unused, in brand new condition, with the original packaging. Then he told me they should have the back-ordered item in... 1-2 weeks. He gave me the option to switch it to another pouch, but all the other color options for the out-of-stock pouch were out of stock as well. So I told him that the magazines were still brand new and I still had the box, and to just send the pouch once they get it.
Another 2 days later, he tells me that he can authorize a return for store credit refund or a refund with 15% return fee, then told me that my pouch was shipped out that day, the 25th, via USPS... Which I suspect to be a lie because it's been a week already. I misunderstood his statement, so I asked if he meant $56 charged to the credit card minus 15%, OR $56 store credit, no fees. So he was nice enough to waive the 15% fee for the store credit, just for asking a question... cool.
He gave me the instructions for shipping, and I sent it yesterday, included with the RMA form, e-Mails, etc. and I insured the package in case it doesn't get their safely. I'm glad he waived the return otherwise I would have payed almost $20 for shipping, minus about 9 dollars for the fee. That means I would get half my money back.
Cons: - Crammed my stuff in a small box - Take forever to reply to e-Mails - Didn't notify me the pouch wasn't available - Didn't inform me clearly, and made a few unprofessional typing errors - Might have lied to me... - It's been 19 days and I STILL don't have all my items
Pros: - They didn't steal from my brother's bank account - They let me send the magazines back - I get $56 towards my next gun
My experience: 5/10 | |

| This sounds like an honest mistake. Still, they should have contacted you about the back-ordered item. All of my experiences with them have been 10/10 | |

| They always cram an ass-load of stuff into a teeny tiny box. When I ordered a 42" Condor Rifle bag from them, it came to me in a 6x6 box. I honestly have no f**king idea how in the name of Chesty it got in there, but it did. They must be Swamis or something, haha | |

| My SPR kit came with no screws for the front sight. And the "box" looked like 3 boxes taped together.... | |

| I've ordered almost $600 worth of stuff (most of it gear) from ASGI and have only had one problem with something they sent me. A pistol holsters secondary/alt fastener snap came broken. Wasn't a big deal to me since i didn't want to use it anyway, but everything else has arrived perfectly fine. They're really the only online airsoft store i trust to do business with. | |

| Yeah, I like ASGI for the most part. The one thing I do not like, though, is their web-based customer service. I'll send them an email asking three or four questions about a product, and I'll get one question answered. It's a bummer | |

| Well they can't just say, "Nope, you don't get it, I'll come back next week." The deliverer should just.. give it to you, and if it requires a signature from your parents then you can say they aren't home and won't be for however long, and he should let you sign it. It also helps if you look older | |

| They probably mean you can only purchase from the website if you're 18+. That's how it is in every airsoft store I've been to. | |

- I Am NOT pleased with them right now. First of all, all that waiver buisness wasn't cool. And now the age is 21? Whatever happened to 18.....? Okay, so the waiver wasn't that bad. But yesterday, I hear a loud knock on the door, and I was so excited, I run upstairs, look through the glass on mr front door....there it is! He's holding my precious Luger box in his hands! I open up, ready to take the box from, and then everything falls apart. He says:
"Son, are your parents home?" "Uhh, Nope" "Well you need to be 21 to sign for this package" "What? well I'm going out of town tomorrow, and both my parents work all day!" "Oh, I'm sorry but you need to be 21" "I've never had to do this for my previous airsoft guns I've ordered." "Oh? Well It's this companys policy. Not UPS. Sorry, kid" GAAAHHH!!!!! So now, I will most likely NOT have my luger on my trip! Just because AEX had to start this policy.....I lost sleep last night, I'm so agry. Well, I'll keep you guys posted..... This is on the online store review about 3/4 down the page. am i reading this wrong, or does this say you have to be 21 to RECIEVE A PACKAGE?!?! | |

| Or you could just ask them to come over during the hours of delivery and ask them to sign the UPS guy's clipboard. I don't know, make 'em some tea or something | |

| Or just not go to the door and the guy will leave it inside or near your front door unless you live in a big cty where you have to actually lock your doors. | |

| Haha, sure. If you really want to continue this, go ahead and make a new thread about it. It's getting too off topic. | |
