MY FOOT HURTssss!

I am very angry right now. Sometimes when I take a step. On the sole of my foot, the skin feels like it's stretching. I'm 13 Btw if that makes a difference.

EDIT: I tried to get my mom to help me but she doesn't know what the "Watch your language" I'm talking about.

Is it more of a stinging like on the surface/skin or a deeper muscle/bone pain?

Did you check for any cuts or blisters? If not that then you might have some sort of nerve damage. I don't know much about medical stuff though.

The problem you are describing sounds alot like plantar fascilitis...which is inflamation of fascia (bundle of tough ligamentous tissue in the sole of your foot).

It's often caused by overstress during exervise or by wearing shoes with bad support.
If I am right, it will get worse if you walk on it. You can help it heel faster by:

• Getting better shoes...

• Discontinuing sports activites until it becomes less inflamed...

I had this problem a while back because I was playing hockey with skates that didnt fit right. Went to the doctor and thats what he told me...
Usually heals within a few days of resting...pop a few ibuprofen while your at it.

You can pick up some shoe inserts that offer better arch support at nearly any shoe store.

You may be suffering from a arch that is rapidly falling (aka flat feet). I have two flat feet, and they are terrible, it hurts to walk, run etc...
The "skin" you are describing is actually tendons and ligaments at the bottom of your foot, being pulled too tightly from a too tight Achilles tendon (big thing back of leg connecting the top of your leg to the heel) , doing stretches and exercises help ALOT and wearing shoes with actual arch support makes you feel better. (new balance, sketchers and nikes help.)

Do whatever you can to preserve your feet, I know how it feels to want to go into the military then being told I probably can't because my feet will just get worse, and the pain will get more intense!
So pretty much, I'm doomed, there's no miracle surgery that will help...

As far as regular shoes go, sports training shoes are the best. They have awesome arch support and lots of padding. Like walking on a cloud. I have a pair that I only wear on special occasions: dances, raves, formal events where I'll be standing for a long period of time.

I had the same, I got some better shoes and it went away fast enough

i had somthing like this from my first cheap skates....they were cheap pawn shop CCM's.

next season i had a pair of Easton S15's and they are sooooo much better for my feet and they got even better after i had them heat molded to my feet.....it like sex for your feet.....that's a creepy simile....

But the point is: you skimp on quality you'll pay for it down the road.

Psh cheap CCM's are where its at! I'm a size 12 and m wear size 9 CCM's that I got for like $15 at some secondhand store.

If you were wearing flatbottom converse or skate shoes, that may have done it.

i could have kept using them if they didnt turn my feet a purple color after practice and games....i needed a new pair anyway.....

The same thing used to happen to me, but I got some little Dr. Scholl's arch supports at Walgreens, and I am good to go. Good luck, though man
