| Alright. Instead of getting the Stag-15 M8A3 I decided on an M14. So my question is: Should I get the Echo1 M14 or the CYMA one? They seem pretty much the same to me... Is there even a difference besides the name behind it? I just want to know if I should spend the extra $40 which could be saved for a scope mount or mags or whatever. | |

| I've heard the CYMA one is pretty good. Keep in mind, though, the M14 is a very long rifle. | |

| It's very long, but also very rough. It can take a pounding.
edit: Oh, dammit... Mike, don't say it, please...

| Haha you kinda walked right into that one.
M14s have always been one of my favorite rifles. Don't know why I hadn't thought about it before now...

| They've just got that "look". I don't blame you; I've always wanted one myself, I just decided to sideline that project until I move to a more field-friendly environment | |

| I'm definitely going to hold off until I actually have a place to play.
Anyone have opinions on either the E1 or CYMA M14s?

| I'm not certain, but I believe the Echo 1 has better internals. | |

| I believe that's like foam that you put into a silencer to muffle the noise of the gun. | |

| Alrighty. The best thing ever about this: A mask, the CYMA M14, CYMA scope mount, and 3-9x scope is going to cost 2 dollars less than the gun itself on GI. I have 56 store credit, 10% off code, and free shipping. I'm happy | |

I can tell by your avatar. My sister thinks it is hilarious. Personally I would go with Echo 1, but CYMA isn't a horrible manufacturer, and it is your choice. Hope it works out!

| like jarhead stated, Echo 1 does have better internals, they have pre upgraded internals aka Echo 1 "enhanced editions" i have both an Echo1 m4 and Ak47 very reliable and shoot great straight out of the box. have you looked into JG? SAME as Echo 1s ,minus the name brand and metal bushings | |

| @MR.IV I have a JG AK47 (the one in the pic) but JG doesn't make an M14. @Jarhead999 It takes one to know one. @br55ftw and I think I'll go with CYMA on this one. The $40 I save will do me some good. | |
