Haven't had a chance to fire it. but ill post a look over review.
I got the JG mp5 MOD5SD. It came with 2 magazines which hold about 50 rounds each (nice as i dislike highcaps and winding) It came with 2 cheap crappy 8.4 700mah batteries (but having 2 is a nice plus) It came with the option of having a full stock or collapsable. (both stocks came with it so i can switch it out) It also came with a mag holder, so i can have one mag attached to the other, but i think it comes standard with most mp5 aegs such as the Galaxy mp5, but none the less a nice plus.
The body is made of a pretty sturdy abs plastic. the construction feels very solid with the full stock and a little less solid with the collapsable stock but thats how it is with most guns. Apparently it is 100% marui compatible as most JG's are. So i can easily change alot of things with it. such as make it into a regular Mp5 with just a switch of the foregrip and flashhider. Everything comes off pretty smoothly i switched my stocks with ease to my surprise.
The rate of fire is pretty decent especially with only using a crap battery with barely any charge on it. (so i assume it can fire fairly fast on full charge)
Accuracy is yet to be seen haha.
The battery compartment is located in the front foregrip but i could easily just switch it so that the battery could be housed in the stock (again versatility)
I can see myself do a lot of things with this gun. it won't be just one gun. but it can be many guns. so i think this will be a very fun toy to have
(i don't mean it is a toy, just using the word ^^)
Overall i give it 9/10
Pros:
- Extremely Versatile, easy to switch out parts
- high ROF (i assume)
- Feels very solid
- came with 2 batteries and 2 mags with a bunch of other little goodies
- marui compatible (goes with versatility i guess)
Cons:
- a little too much plastic for my liking (but doesnt bother too much)
- its probably not a hard hitter (maybe 310-330 fps)
there are probably some other things i can't think of right now but i will post them along with my firing test results etc. and now for some pics
