| Well, i can't speak for the others who say its bad, but i have just had no luck with them at all. I ordered a gun on there and when it got here it was the completely wrong gun. I ordered an Echo 1 M16 and got a CYMA AK 47....big difference. When i contacted them, they said that they shipped the right gun and actually accused me of lying, so i just said the heck with it and hung up. I sold it for $80, which is more than i thought id get, but i was out like another 50 bucks. Thats just my story.
And many of my friends have had simular experiences with them.

| I'm moving this thread to our Online Retailers section.
Anyway, Hobbytron is thought to be so poor of an airsoft retailer because of several reasons. They typically have poor customer service, they overprice their guns (usually), they sell a ton of junk, and they're what can be referred to as a noob-retailer. This means they sell really cheap replicas, throw out big numbers like a "450 FPS sniper rifle for only $65" but fail to mention it's with .12g BBs and the rifle is terribly cheap and inaccurate. They don't sell guns the more experienced airsofters use, and sometimes it can get annoying hearing people brag about their $50 rifles they purchased from places like Hobbytron when they're saying this to people who've been playing for several years that have spent upwards of $300-$600+ on their gun and loadout. I'm definitely not talking about you, please don't get me wrong. I'm just stating why places like these are often despised as well as those who purchase from them. And I'm also not bashing people who buy cheap replicas - as my first gun was a clear plastic shotgun I bought for $35 (around there, anyway). We all start somewhere. I recommend, though, for someone who's serious about airsoft that they purchase a nicer gun from a more trusted site.

| LOL, everyone read the end of this thread... LINK EDITEDOh and btw, this is not forum advertisement. Link was edited out: - led to a site that did not relate to thread. - advertised a low-populated forum (i.e. competition )
If you want to refer to the link, please copy and paste the text itself into the thread.

| Hey, Lone Wolf, it may be my computer just being dumb, but that link you posted didnt take me to a thread. It just looked like a main menu/home page for a forum and said: "UPDATES AND NEWS" | |
