Why So Serious?

Thats a famous line of the Joker in The Dark Night. Has anyone seen it? Myself, i don't really like the Batman movies, but i loved this one. I thought the Ledger did a Fantastic job as The Joker. Every scene he was in he just had that vibe to him that all the great villans have. And he also brought comedy to it as well, which were very good. The magic trick was one of my favorites. Wont go into detail incase you haven't seen it and are planning to. Anyway, i just loved this move. How about you all?

This movie got the best reveiws. And by that I mean to say in all action/thriller movies. I like how they layed out the batman character, For example instead of batman just being a vigilante whom mysteriously acquired elite martial art status. They started him off as a normal person then how everything hit the fan and how he was trained by the league of shadows. This part in the series really layed out and explained batman.

Now for the joker. No one beats Heath Ledger, even in the first movies he was still the best actor there in the movie. He adds humor but that complements his background and personality of the character he is acting as.

I have yet to see this movie, but i bet after i see it, It will be rented twice or even 3 times. in the next year. We rent no buy...too many cases, nowhere to store. Im going to ignore this thread now, lol, because i know some people can't resist saying "oh when batman bursted through that wall THAT WAS AWESOME WTF PWNAGE!!!"

I love Batman movies and want to go see this on . Boy , I hope that didn't make me look like a nerd .

I just got back from it! WOW that was great!! Jeez, it was longer than a Barret .50 Cal though!! that was ONE LONG MOVIE! It was awesome. I missed like alot of the middle of it though

Yea I may be going to go see it, MAYBE...I don't know...

All i know is that if it is like you said where it is easy to miss alot of the middle parts then im going to need coke or monster to keep me awake lol.

I know this movie will probably get a double feature showing.

of all the batman movies I've seen I can officially say the none of them can even compare with the origional cartoon back in the 90's. I would even say it competed well with the powerangers. I don't know if any of you rember when toys are us was big but people would be lined out the door when new powerangers toys came out. The lines were a little smaller for batman but I would compare the lines with the ones at the apple store when the new I phones came out. People were crazy about batman, I just wanted my frigan action figure....

I have yet to see the new movie. But I heard that ledger was fanominal.
